Great work and good to see you back on track (!). Hope the job is going well too.

Jon, I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to open up on here - you'll find no discrimination from us. Personally I find ladies shoes a little too narrow for my feet, but each to their own. Welcome to RMWeb!

Sad news but perhaps for the best. Talking of which, a pint of best lies within your grasp as soon as you're settled...

I'll echo the good luck wishes, it sounds like an interesting parallel you're trying to draw.
I'll also point out a pedantry item: the abbreviation etc. written in full is 'et cetera' (meaning "and so on" or thereabouts) so writing it "ect" has no meaning whatsoever. You have 14 occurrences "ect" in your text.

Thanks Steve - only picked up on your thread the other day that 2mmFS is no more for you...hopefully you can still get to enjoy it, even if 7mm is now your scale...
Only my eyes have given up, my enthusiasm is still there. I still have two etches of my little Fox Walker that I'm keeping just in case!

Your solution, as always, is very neat and your workmanship is superb.

That's lovely Ian

That is going to be an incredible project. Are you doing it alone?

Really nice Pete, some very intricate work done exceptionally well. Threw me a bit with the £1 coin, was expecting a €1!

Soopa. Want it!
(as my son would say)

Very nice already Pete!

Very nice Pete, what a surprising lift it's been given!
However, I'm in mourning for the balls...

Lisa, I like reading your updates too, but the font you've chosen makes it really difficult to read. Looking forward to the next update!
-
Beautiful! Definitely the best one I've seen to date. Let me know if you get tired of it!
-
Really very nice Pete. This update reminds me so much of when I was an architectural design student! Absolutely love those polystyrene trees!
Fascinated by the last sentence; I'll show you mine if you show me yours?...

Great progress! I love these things, as you can tell from my avatar pic. I may get myself one of these so watching with interest.

Blimey! Had an argument with an N Gauger?
-
Best of luck with the cattle wagon, hope it comes out well. I'm after a couple of these for my layout so if the results are good I'll put in a reservation.
-
Amazing attention to detail! Love the inetrior.

This looks lovely, well done.

It's aesthetically pleasing to my eye. What I'm looking forward to is how you're going to build the track and pointwork. What method will you use - Easitrac or soldered PCB?
-
That looks super. Did you get your supplies (sleepers, rail & gauges) from the 2mm shop?
-
Very nice Valentin. Can you say why you didn't like the Easitrac points please? Would you say they were not suitable for a beginner? Thanks
