Well another night of storms roads to west bay flooded sea coming over wall washing the windows.Only good thing we made it on ITV main news I have just put all my models up high just in case. High tide at 23.00 hrs

that was a long flight nearly ten hours Lanzarote to bournemouth ten minutes of landing hit that storm two aborted landings people throwing up then took us to Birmingham coach back to bournemouth 6-30

what a sh** day today has been. It started with a blocked toilet, followed by getting stuck in traffic taking my wife to Nottingham to see her Red Dogs beat my Rams, continued with a struggle around Loughborough exhibition with a bad tempered daughter and ended with my club sacking their manager. Joke decision!!!

is not looking forward to the start of the new school year tomorrow. Another 11 and half months of new government intiatives, Michael Gove talking out of his rear orrifice, reduced pay, unreasonable workload and demands. I'd say roll on next summer but don't want to wish my life away. At least there is organising and exhibiting at the Weston show to look forward to.

Having found the escape route from the staffroom a few years ago, I've gradually forgotten just how bad that feeling of impending doom could be at this time of year. I can now relax & smugly regard early September as no different to any other time of the year - it was lovely walking the dog over the fields by the river this afternoon . . . .
Seriously, I don't envy anyone who's teaching these days.

Took my 2.5 year old nephew to Merseyrail's Walton station, the man in the booking office was very freindly, let us park the car outside the booking office and told him to stand on the footbridge and wave so the train drivers would sound the horn and they did, he also gave him a special cartoon childrens ticket too, made his day
