Well.. I got the job. As of monday morning, I have a job on the railways.

I may be showing my age here, but over the last few years I've noticed more and more often that when travelling "on the cushions" Drivers/Guards (conductors) always travel first class, even at the expense of FC ticketholders who have to stand. When did that become normal practice?

Moved my bench 90 degrees round the work room to get more light from the window and better use the available space..Going to take at least a week to re-find all the bits and pieces before I can re-start work.....
