  1. Is rather disappointed that so few people have viewed Il Dottore's The 2012 RMWeb Yuletide Readings in Wheeltappers..

  2. Not getting much modelling done as my sister is over from Vancouver for a month. Amazing how much impact visitors have on your life.

  3. Snowing in Suffolk! I thought they kept that for Kent and Essex.

      Michael,

no specific dates yet, but a couple of tentative inquiries. I haven't been pushing for invites so far, until I get a bit further with the scenic stuff. I am happy to take it out as a work in progress, when I am satisfied with the running and some of the pretty stuff is done.

  5. Off to France for a few days vacance, so you can all enjoy a bit of piece and quiet.

"A bit of piece"? ;-) So, er, a bit of a bit? Or a piece of a piece?

  12. What to do today, build the new Mousa Models LNWR wagon kit, finish the new signals for London Road, install the point rodding, design the production tool for the new carriage underframes? Choices, choices.

  14. Just had a delivery of LNWR Society publications for sale at expoEM Bracknell

Lovely weather for cutting grass, but I'm having a job settling down to indoor soldering. Presume UR doing the signals in the garden...

  16. Is looking forward (not) to several more days of making rodding stools, point cranks, FPLs, etc. and then installing them.

    1. Debs.

Rodding stools? Cut down on the Branflakes.....:)

  17. Was at S4N over the weekend, so missed all the drama. Sound like a lot of people didn't take up modelling in the absence of RMWeb.

  18. Now back from a rail/cruise in Scotland and off to Scalefour North tomorrow.

    1. skipepsi

      skipepsi

      Damn forgot about that.

  19. Wonderful weather today, just right for setting up the woodworking gear in the garden to make the overhead light boxes for the extension to London Road

  20. Back from a weeks holiday. A dip into RMWeb shows that life has continued without change.

Dapol's 7mm 08 seems to have spread some disarray in the community.

...or am I on the wrong forum?

  24. The dearly beloved is back from NZ, so no more using the kitchen table for model making. At least the weather is milder so the workshop is habitable.
