great stuff.
must get on with mine
-
must get round to doing one myself

Excellent.
I've got 5 I need to do at some point.

Really like your OAA - I'm doing one myself right now.Even simple weathering with Tamiya powders brings out the detail on the body. I hadn't even noticed the moulded chains until I started the job. Very good detail considering it's a 30 year old model. And the sides are nice and thin too. OK, the underframe is not up to "modern" standards but fair play to Hornby all those years ago. When weathered and detailed I'm more than happy to include it in a rake with more modern Bachmann offerings. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thanks for looking in and the comment.
Pleased I inspired you.

Yeah, the flash makes them look really bright, they are dirty though.

Love the crates.

Excellent work.
Wish my attempts with Linka were as impressive.

Plan is 2 Bachmann wagons when they come out, with the pack of 5 Wild Boar containers.
That means only 3 of the Hornby wagons wil need upgrading
-
like the OAA
Thanks.
I've done another since.

Cheers Neil.
Bit more to do to finish them though.

What is the tightest radius planned on your layout? If it is fairly generous (radius 3 or above) then you could use screw/3 link/instanter couplings as these are the most realistic generally speaking (I think they had instanter or screw links)
IC125
Train set at the moment, but hopefully moving on to less tight curves.

I may do.
More likely to leave them as they are for a while apart from making them dirtier.
-
Keep coming back to this but never progress any further.
One day.
