  8. Hi there, Got hold of one of Bachmann's single road engine shed's. They are rather tasty I have plonked it down on the other side of the layout that will eventually become a yard and small maintrence area. I have attached some pics of the shed and other bits. Cheers Arnie
  9. Hi Guy, Thanks for the comment, I sprayed on a thinned mixture of railmatch frame dirt and sleeper grime over the ballast and then some railmatch weathered black and some MIG blacksmoke weathering powder for some shading and oil patches. It was my first time doing any track and ballast weathering but it seems to have come out ok. Cheers Arnie

  14. Hi Phil, She looks lovely mate nice one I do like the orginal peaks shame they were all gone by the early 80's would have liked one for the layout. Cheers Arnie

  17. Hi Phil, Cheers for the latest pic, 08509 looks smart maybe another to add to the list Yeah Tinsley did look like a loco graveyard alot of the time! Enjoy the detailing up of Royal Signals. Cheers Arnie
  18. Hi Phil, Some more nice photos there Darnall was funnily enough one i was thinking of doing! I'm also planning on getting a BR Blue 47 done as 47002 Sea King in the near future. Planning on getting her done nice and battered just before she was withdrawn in 91. There are also some 37 Tinsley namers i would like to model one day also. Cheers Arnie
  19. Thanks for the comment Richard The green Tinsley namer is on my list also
  20. Hi Peter, Thanks I have been putting off the lighting for ages, I should of installed them when I started the layout but was to impatient at the time and wanted to get some trains running I have also got some signals to wire up which hopefully i'm gonna crack on with tonight. Cheers Arnie
  21. Hi Phil, Thanks again for some more pics A Tinsley namer gronk is also on my list to do! I've always had a real fondness for peaks even though i'm from down south and didn't get to see too many of them, perhaps that is the appeal of them and have always taken a real shine to the Tinsley namers. I do remember the green peak 106 i believe, shame that it didn't last long and had to catch fire I have another peak on it's way to me but it dosen't have the high intensity lamp fitted so gonna put Vampire back for the moment and turn this one into 45046 Royal Fusilier Cheers Arnie
  22. Thanks for the info Leon, i have just placed an order for one of the tanks from them just gotta decide where to put it now. Cheers Arnie
