  5. Hi Cav, just had to stop by and say the peak looks amazing mate. Nice one!
  6. Morning, Here's a few of pics of the layout that i took recently. I haven't been in there for a while, going to have ago at cracking on with the flyover that i started a while back and fit the rest of the safety rails to the side of it. I may repaint it also as i'm not too happy with the colour of the Railmatch concrete paint i used! Cheers Arnie
  7. Thanks Peter, yeah split box dutch tractors are superb especially all battered up like this one
  8. Morning, Well it's been a while since i posted anything, i've been distracted with other things the past few months and never seemed to have any time for modelling:( I'm slowly getting back into it though and recently bought a dutch 37 body from Ebay which was sold as spares or repairs and was in a bit of a state with muck sprayed all over it and the glazing all clouded up. I cleaned it up and had ago at transforming it into 37087 circa 95 when the loco's body work was a bit patched up. It's nearly finished now i'm just replacing the glazing and touching up a few bits of weathering, here's a pic. Cheers Arnie
  9. Cheers Leon, may have to have ago at knocking one up myself at some point.
  10. Gantry looks good Leon, I'm looking for something similar for the bridge on my layout. May I ask where you got it from? Cheers Arnie
  11. I have a couple of his 37 chips and they are superb Leon, great controllability! I will be getting one for my 60 also soon. Cheers Arnie
  12. Hi Leon, Like the latest shots, looking superb. I was in South Wales not too long ago visiting the in laws in Swansea who have just moved back there. Didn't have much time to check out railway stuff though, hoping next time i'm down i can visit Margam and maybe catch a 60! Cheers Arnie
  13. Thanks Ian, Yeah 046 is a fav of mine but i imagine once Bachmann get round to finally producing a peak with the sealed beams then i imagine her value will drop considerably! The Escort is the first time i've had ago at weathering(or destroying) a vehicle before i normally stick to loco's but thought it would look in theme with the new housing venture Cheers Arnie I
  14. Thanks Rob, I weathered the HEA using Tamiya Acrylic's and Railmatch dark rust. I mixed up the Tamiya acrylics, flat white, pink and thinner into a wash and applied to the wagon by brush until i built it up enough to the desired pinkness. I then finished of by dry brushing the rust effects on. Cheers Arnie
  15. Evening, Here's a couple of NSE inspired shots and also a pic of 33202 The Burma Star which i've finished up weathering, and have tried to capture what she looked like in the mid 90's with the depot plaque and BR logo removed. Cheers Arnie
  16. Afternoon, While waiting for some bit's to arrive so i can continue with the station area, i took Arnash lane back in time for some 80's inspired pic's featuring some light engine movements and freight workings this afternoon. Cheers Arnie
  17. Evening, I've been busy this afternoon battering up the Ford Escort and placing it on bricks so i can place it outside the new flats. Still a few bit's i want to touch up but here's some pic's. Cheers Arnie
  18. Morning, I've began working on the area next to the station again and have recently purchased some rather grimey looking flat's to place next to the block i have already. Just need to get some pavement down and maybe a i'll take the wheels of the Ford Escort parked up outside and place it on some bricks Here's a pic and also another of 47715 put to work on a mail train. Cheers Arnie
  19. Thanks Daz, Yeah i was trying to capture 47715 how she was right at the end of her day's in NSE livery looking a bit shabby Looking forward to seeing some pictures of Shaftesbury MK4, how are things coming along? Cheers Arnie
  20. Thanks Peter, the NSE 47 is my weathering but the freightliner 47 was an Ebay purchase. I don't really go for Heljan 47's due to the Bachmann model but this one looked superb. I've been after a Freightliner machine for a while after regrettable seeling another one i had a while back. Cheers Arnie
  21. Hi Jaz, Thanks for the comment, the graffiti was not my doing though it is a waterslide transfer that i've applied to the container. I've attempted graffiti in the past on other items but with my artistic skills i can never get it to look quite right Cheers Arnie
  22. Evening, I have been weathering again today and have finished new arrival 47715 to replicate her final years carrying NSE livery. Heres a pic and also a pic of a Freightliner 47 passing Arnash. Cheers Arnie
  23. Hi Peter, I echo the comments on the Marina it looks superb. My dad also had one when i was young and all i remember was how it broke down constantly and how hot the vinyl on the seats would get if you parked it in the sun for to long! Cheers Arnie
  24. Hi Peter, Thanks, yes Reggie rail livery did seem to suit them nicely. I have a small rake of Reggie rail coaches also, just need to get round to weathering them up. Cheers Arnie
