Something a bit different. no my layout but I built the station building which is a scaled down version of Bolton upper level, I constructed the extensive platform canopy roof and walkway to platforms from upper access building. the church in the background I re painted from a Kit. the signal box is a scratch built lnwr box, the roofline in the foreground is of a Freelance build hotel I made and over 20 years old now. -

Hi Brassey, yes, no problem, I constructed these around 15 years ago, came across them in my old photo portfolio. Peter -

Lovely modelling, it’s good to see people scratch building, unique and very rewarding knowing you have created it. Peter -

Didn’t know that, this was a scratch build for a client, who owned the house in Oxford and wanted a model of it for in his office at work. -

Peterborough North views, the photos were taken by Gilbert Barnett, all 4mm scale. track work & Stock, not my work. the terraces in the far background were made half relief but based on actual buildings in there setting. -

I like that Capt, great view -
Dave & Shirley Rowe, what a lovely couple, so saddened to here of Shirley’s passing, she was a superb modeller. They created the most delightful models in various scales, Exbridge Quey comes to mind, so many creations from them, talent by the boat load and a standard that set them apart.

Hi all, I am currently looking for photos or video footage of ‘ Shaw Bridge’ EM LYR layout, although there was an Artical in BRM, there is very little or nothing on the internet with regard to photos etc. If anyone has Anything on the Layout taken at a show? kind rgds Peter A L

Hi Mick, that’s really looking good is that and from scratch too, Great to see scratch builders still modelling, it’s an Art that is slowly becoming obsolete. Having said that, there are still a few about that love to build from scratch, in this day of computer printing and I guess there will always be those who love to build something from nothing.

I love Trevor’s work, I remember his early work and East Lynn, delightfully atmospheric. This is a lovely little layout and in a lovely scale too. please pass on my appreciation of top modelling here.

Hi everyone, has anyone got any ideas on how I can develop the scene, to the right of the bridge, as this was only a temporary idea for an exhibition show? many thanks
