Hi well, I have managed to retrieve the photos for this thread, it’s long winded but here we go, models in 4mm and 2mm including the Swiss model of Erstfeldt. -
Hi Tony, thank you for the kind comments and the photos and to you to Mike for the Box photo, I remember this model had an unusual slate roof arrangement but perhaps it was typical for the Maryport & Carlisle. Little Bytham, looking impressive and point rodding, once started there is no turning back with this element of detailing. Peter

Hi Tony, I hope you are keeping well. What fantastic photos they are of Carlisle on page 1750, just shows the shear size of this layout and the amount of work that has gone into it, absolutely fantastic. Peter

The overhead shot, posted 21hours ago, ‘fantastic’.

This is just fabulous, lovely track work modelling too.

Hi yes, you are correct, I’m not the best when it comes to weathering, one department I am found wanting.

Hi Montyburn, thanks, the small building on the left embankment adjacent to bridge is the small cross shaped structure, Shown on here somewhere, supposedly how it looked in the 60s.

In situ, there has been much more development to the layout by the owner, since these photos were taken but it gives you an idea we’re each building structure sits in its appropriate place. it is the owners intention to try and capture the real place as it was in the 60s as is possible given the spaces available.

Hi, I have really enjoyed watching this come together, it’s a lovely little layout and looks very convincing to me and nice to see some kit building here too. Pete
