  2. Long a Lane Crossing cabin was a small box on the LYR between Banks and Hundred end station in Lancashire near Southport. would accommodate around 8 levers and worked independently of the block system. I have built a few of these boxes over the years both in 4 and 7mm scales. just now needs painting, slates added and drain pipe brackets & small interior detail to finish off.
  3. Hi Barclay, have tried Andrew Neal site but can’t seem to find anywhere we’re the back issues might be on it. cheers peter
  4. Hi Ian, thanks for this, will have a look. Peter
  5. Hi Fred, thanks for your help here, Im not sure about the scale, it’s not actually for a railway, it’s for a theatre set model. The majority of my work is Architectural , mostly in the hobby but a good friend who is a singer in my Band is a play write and he’s asked me to put together a theatre set with some of the Actors on the stage with props. It is based in an office scene in the 60s period. 4 and 7mm is too small a scale, so it has to be something of the size of the figures I added to the Platform on the Much Wenlock model I built, which was for the 3” gauge modellers, I think it was 13.5mm scale but could be wrong. thanks Peter A L
  6. Photo taken at an exhibition in October, unusual angled shot.

  8. Hi, does anyone know if it possible to get very quality figures in Gscale, to suite an office scene in the 60s period? thanks
  9. Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to get very high quality G scale figures, something that would suite an office scenE in the 60s, has to be very high quality? thanks
  10. Hi, Mick, I had working signals on Shaw Bridge, which I constructed from MSE parts and one was a double gantry GWR bracket whichI converted to an L & Y bracket using MSE. unfortunately I have no photos of the bracket signal. I had a couple of ground signals in the loop but they were none working, I was told it’s very difficult to get ground signals working, very fiddly but not impossible. peter
  11. Hi Martin, have to admit, never thought about that, although I think I have posted up on here on the Narrow gauge section but perhaps not them all. i will have a look and see what’s what. cheers pete
  12. Hi Martin, yes, tried everywhere, have run out of options ha ha, I guess one might turn up at some point but I believe when it came out, it sold out more or less right away. Pete
