    Although I don't have a Heljan 33 I do use the direct plug 8pin decoders from Hattons and have just the basic Dynamis system. I have had no problems programming any of them.

    Not sure I agree, 5 years from now the current Hornby MK3 will cost more to make but will be no more detailed than they are now. TBO I am happy with the current Hornby offering and it is all we have and will have for some time to come.

    Order an item Sunday, email saying it was picked Monday. Delivered today, I don't think you could get better service, not forgetting it also has to go through customs as well.

    only 6 though I see so either multiples of the same number, renumbering or waiting for different numbers to be released will be the order of the day. For me these will be a must have, deduct 20% and hopefully if the exchange rate stays low and these will be cheap as chips !!

    According to BRM they are and they all have buffers so if they aren't they are incorrect.

    Thanks, I knew that each system wouldn't control the others decoders. Just wondered if I could use both systems at the same time on the same track. Each system controlling their own chips. Maybe have to have a look into it then

    So if I am reading this correctly I can still maintain my Dynamis system, fit one of their DCC chips into a loco and use the app on my phone to control it? As well as still being able to use the Dynamis for non converted stock?

    Nice although I prefer the LNER The memorial seems to fit the location, not to large to over power. Another idea would be a little market?

    Thanks although not sure I understand the first part of your answer. Not sure why I said 1930s I am not that time line specific! Anything from the Big 4 days.
