    My mate once accidentally spilt some thin cheap superglue on a model and it looked like standing water, great effect BUT please test it on something first, it may have been the fact it was pound shop superglue.................

    Hi Barnaby For what it's worth I think the sketch is really helpful especially as a reminder, the problem I always have is that I don't wire them often enough to retain the info so I have printed a copy of your sketch & laminated it to put in the useful odds & ends folder Thanks again Doug

    I agree, they do look like Dinghams, I'm slowly replacing my three links with them. A bit fiddly to make but very rewarding. I've found a production line method works best

    "Funny these cars should be mentioned: my Mum had a brown Allegro for years - the registration ended in an "S" - she only gave up driving it when she was 90 - and that was only 8 years ago!!!" I bet the letters H,T and 1 were involved somewhere though.................. I used to have a Marina, great fun in the wet & snow but no guarantee it would ever get you there and back again, happy days Edit to sort appalling spelling

    When all else fails etc etc etc.........made me smile as I did the same sort of thing when putting downlighting into the summerhouse, never read the catalogue properly and ended up with something that resembles the Souter lighthouse!!!!
