Is this another way of saying "the eyes are open, the mouth is moving but mr brain has long since departed"?

Yes, very hectic day at work, somewhere along the road my brain shut down....

  2. Ebay Sloppiness? While looking for the 2011 release of County of Bedford I came across this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160791895727 It's described as the 2011 release (with a blurb probably lifted from an online store), but as far as I can tell the photo shows the 1981 release. Will E-mail the seller shortly, so please correct me if i'm wrong! Regards, Sierd Jan
  3. I just bought this kit for my layout, and this is what you get: as Kenton mentioned, not really a kit, except for the sluice gates and water wheel. If you build it as drawn in the templates, the main building will be 122 mm by 86 mm, the sluice gates & water wheel about 90 mm by 80 mm. Hope this helps! Sierd Jan
  4. *** INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WELCOME *** Something like this, in loud neon letters shouts "tourist trap" to me. Always best to avoid those! Sierd Jan
  5. Finally made time to fully read your thread, and I must say I'm very impressed! I especially like the ramp wagons and the 80 ton warwells, as these have never before (to my knowledge) been available in OO. I will certainly order some of these. Keep up the good work! Sierd Jan
  6. Our mutual friend keeps surprising me: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330705859681 Any takers? Sierd Jan
  7. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270927431324 I love a good understatement, but perhaps this is pushing things just a bit too far...... Sierd Jan (comes with kadees though )
  8. Ah, you noticed that one as well. And what the .. indeed. But on second thoughts, my lawnmover does need replacing. Could be a good excuse for a trip to England. But the location is a bit vague Might stumble on a couple of modelshops on the way though, and forget about the mower.... Sierd Jan
  9. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270912794380 Seems a reasonable price, Probably comes with the limited edition gold plated wheel sets........ And for those of you who like a challenge! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270912159793 Sierd Jan
  10. Must be because I'm dutch, but the words 'rare'and 'collectable' don't readily spring to mind when viewing this lot: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310377318096 Ah well, at least the BIN is very reasonable, as is the international shipping. I might be tempted anyway...... Sierd Jan
  11. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290666120281#ht_500wt_1203 Nice wagon, nice BIN. No more time, have to go now and buy this... Sierd Jan
  12. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160727293138#ht_500wt_1203 Very rare GWR livery indeed....... And a very reasonable international postage at 20 pounds Sierd Jan
  13. Excuse me, 670 quid ? That surely must be someone's idea of a good joke! Just stumbled upon this thread, and I must say, it makes for a fascinating read. I do most of my buying on Ebay, and I know I'm mad, but not that mad! Sierd Jan
