  1. No it wasn't me*... I was actually building track, (which I can best describe as throwing a male hen towards the skies... when is the Peckomatic track coming out? please!). B. Mathews * unless you mean that stealth trouble maker from down sowth
  2. Wack a Golden Arrow resin body kit on a 4F chassis you mean... where's the fun in that ?
  3. I wouldn't say no to a Maunsell Q
  4. Thanks, I'm a fan of birds (as is the Quackmeister™). One thing that does puzzle me though is, how does the Wardle manage flight when it is such a heavy beast? Oh and how can you tell it's a male? T. Witcher .
  5. A Z would be great, stranger/ more unique prototypes have been produced or about to be (thinking P class).
  6. I think I mean Autumnwatch. That time of year already
  7. Was totally taken back by the Bee Eaters mentioned on Springwatch last night. I'd heard they came over here but I didn't realise how beautiful they actually were up close.
  8. Yes they does... although them's more pink then red! (shall we go off on one about the specific colour of a Bullied suspific?)
  9. Ooooo, tempting. I've got some parott beak (?) pliers for those sort of shenanigans. They used to cut track beautifully when they were young too.
  10. Couldn't agree more. It would make far more sense to release small tanks all round, I'll have a G6 please Hornby. What does everyone else want on the small tank front?
  11. It's just occurred to me that I does have one of them... trouble is it's in S&DJR livery (I kept seeing it on every visit to the Titfield Funderbolt Bookshop and felt sorry for it ). How am I going to work that into the 1950s ish / 1960s ish (summer) timetable? Saw rite: She'll be appearing on one of them RICKETS specials from time to time after being taken into the National Collection and restored to S&DJR Prussian Blew. Sorted! B.Ullshitter .
  12. I'm actually toying with the ideal of building another crossover but in ply with plastic chairs (and the odd rivet). I think I've still got enough turnout timber strip and plenty of chairs, courtesy of Dr Quackenstein™. I still haven't got a finalised track plan. Cheerzes Edit: One thing is definite and that is the crossover is an A5 wiv a 9ft switch. .
  13. Oh, there in my track toy box .
  14. Haven't stuck 'em on yet. Need to see if it flies before I start going all P4 around the edges. No point melting them if I have to make adjustments
  15. Aren't they part teak and part cast? I'm sure I did read that somewhere I did... or maybe I just made it up?
  16. That passenger in the second carriage has had a hot box since leaving Cleethorpes, that's yer problem .
  17. Yep, a very good investment, I think they were £25. Parallel pliers are pretty much essential for me for track building. I don't have the gentle touch and end up pinching one side of everything otherwise.
