  1. I've made a Kestrel church look like a church and I feel we'll chuffed.

  2. Loving very impressive indeed. All you need now is the ACE running through the station.
  3. I can think of nothing better, than finishing Ballasting and all your track works and everything runs smoothly.

  4. Templefield, ballasting is 90% complete, and the N gauge Kestrel Church is looking like a church it has been a good weekend.

  5. Only another 34 hours left on HMS Ocean left, then I can reitre to the workshop to do some modelling. i may attempt the Kestrel church for a bit bit of a challenge

      Apparently HMS Ocean is leaving Greenwich tommorrow, before heading over to Holland for a few days. hopefully I'll be flying off before she weighs Anchor.

  13. Well it was one used to deliver the Torch to the London from a Sea King mk4. So was lucky enough to get my photo taken with it.
  14. Just spent the best part 36 hours, Ground running a lynx aircraft in the middle off the Thames. Thankfully it is now serviceable. So flying over London tommorow .

      Passed it's check test flight. Managed to take some pics up and down the Thames all the way to southend

  15. I have discovered I really like making Airfix tank kits, they may be designed in the sixties but with modern painting techniques and a steady hand they come out nicely. All I need to do is make some dragons teeth and I'll be set.

      I have seen them and I have a plan of action, using a SAM publication about Airfix military models. I've got a cromwell to build and an AEC Matador. I hope Airfix will one day make an M7 priest or a Sherman firefly

      My Dad let me make the Sherman kits but insisted on making the Churchill, his favourite tank.

  23. Just bought the new range of Games Workshop paints, going to test them on my latest 2mm project. Games Workshop have overhauled their complete paint range so If anyone wants I will endure to produce a conversion guide.

      Apart from blue and yellow mixing to make green, (70s and 80s to make 60s!), i'm completely dangerous with paint! So I, for one, would appreciate an idiots guide, (me), to them. Ta.
