using some plasticard found in the loft. must date from 1970s. 10thou sheet marked 11p,30thou sheet at 20p, 60thou sheet at 44p. what are we paying now?

Just back from Burton Eng. Soc. meeting, interesting and informative talk / slide show on the history of Hunslet locos.

Spider built a small web in outside corner of Kitchen window. I saw a Dandelion seed plus its "parachute" drift past and got caught by the web. Spider appeared and proceeded to untangle the seed etc from the web then held it into the breeze before releasing. Veg seeds obviously not on a spider's menu!

Just had notification from Talktalk there is now Fibre Broadband in my street. They tell mme that currently I get 0 MB speed, which if I opt for fibre @ 7.50 extra/month I'll get between 0 MB and 0 MB.

Microwave "died" in a spectacular electrical display of sparks. How did we manage before these bits of kitchen-ware? It's "Black Friday" but can't find anyone selling them at discounted prices! Typical of my luck.

recovered from a very enjoyable day (Sat.) at Statfold barn. about 11 engines in steam, some running double-headed. lots of other interest too.

Like Stubbby I've a requesrt for bits for my challenge in Wanted. So far no offers of pre-war outline vans. But there again rolling stock seems to be the poor relation in Marketplace.

Stepping up from "Thomas" to the Challenge Diorama, isn't modelling frustrating? One step forward then 3 steps back, it seems! The way things are going I'll need a time extension to 2018?
