Thank you both, your help is so much appreciated as just what I required. David

After a relocation i am looking to start again and looking for a track diagram for Wellingborough station. I still have an old copy of Railway Modeller, which has a suggested track plan, but i am after photos or plan of 1950 track plan. I have tried google but not found anything apart from some photos of part of the station. Can people suggest where i might try? David

Oh the cellar, I remeber going down there over 14 years ago and ended up with a handful of minitrix warships. Very friendly and helpful staff. Now use the net and have got a couple of things since we moved but not the same as popping in.

The adverts of the then New Farish range reminded me of my start into N. I was given some old Triang stock and track which due to taking up the living room floor my father took me to a model shop in in West Brom where I came away with a new Farish LMS surbuban set complete with an oval of track. Oh happy days. Still have the stock and a neighbour in Ludlow gave me this little beauty, definitely in the eyes of this beholder. How far N gauge has come on with the Farish Blue Pullman. The early Farish of the 70's brings back may happy memories of yester year as a kid.

I spoke to my CC provider earlier this week and in 15 minutes was told the money for the King deposit will be in my account next day. A result. Thanks to all who have contributed.

The weathering by CF Locos, I have no connection with them, also for me adds to the overall realism of the scene. A great layout and nice people as well. David

My 4 year old grandson told me all about seeing a blue Pullman and having a video to show me. Now need to look surprised before I go to Toddington next week. David

As has been said before this shows what can be achieved in N and has been a very enjoyable read as well as inspiring. Superb scratchbilding and to me really does bring back memories of be blue. I look forward to your development at the front of the layout.

I have to say the weathered Western 2/3rd's out the shed with the 22 looks like the spotters have been taking flakes of paint off when out & about. Saw them do that at New street years ago on Sultan. Weird what you remember. Great work Dave.

I agree. Looks superb as well. Looking forward to seeing the main street level building take shape and blend in with the station complex.

I suggest you get a spill kit quickly as excavators don't like lying on their sides

Stephen Just started reading this thread and very good it is. Attached a photo of rock lying in a quarry. Your addition of smaller stones greatly improves what you have created but could do with a bit more finer material IMO.

As has already been said it captures the look of the old buildings superbly. Living not far from Leith, but far enough I know the pub you talk about earlier as well. Not sure of what other bits of Leith you mean though Keep the photo's coming as your fleet grows as they capture what so many of us try to achieve and are an inspiration to me and others I am sure.

Simon I'm gobsmacked and inspired. Superb and can't wait to see more as you progress. Have you added any more Dapol magnets yet to your stock and how are they working as have 2 packs myself to get to grips with?
