    Thanks. Tried that but it’s a) showing odd Order values, seemingly because of double applying VAT and b) is inconsistent on orders with deposits etc. Can’t see a way to see clearly what I’ve paid against each order £ total. Will email you now...

    Having made contact with the firm, they have confirmed that they need to notify creditors within 28 days of appointment and will soon be sending out the relevant notices. A proof of debt form together with a questionnaire will be contained within that correspondence. They have no further information at this stage to share including whether there’s any likely dividend to any creditor.

    May be prototypical but should the Intercity and Railfreight versions have Overhead Warning signs of one of the two types or did they run without them from new? Also, what year did the Railfreight ones gain the depot emblem plaques? Easy enough to add, suspect this may be done deliberately as the models cross a couple of periods of overhead design signs / plaques being fitted or not.

    Thanks for the offer Phil. I think I’ve solved it...it was reading the decoder as M4; once I turned it to RailCom Plus it was happily reading all functions! Thanks again

    Hi Just set up my ECoS 50210 to try my Realtrack sound fitted EMT 156s. Being a novice still with the ECoS, impressed that it auto detects the Loksound v5.0 chip. However, I can’t work out how to access functions over 0-15 (eg 16 and 17 that play the destination announcements). Can anyone help please? Thanks

    The comments on KM articles can often bring some amusement...sadly sometimes also unpleasant ones too. I remain amazed that they allow what seems unmoderated comments on almost all articles.

    Bit of excitement in local news today after a lorry carrying a train had a bit of an incident with a van at Ashford.     The one in the original link is currently at the HVC in Margate. It was added about 6 months ago in the extension room that also contains a giant Scalextric track of Silverstone (although is usually fenced off). The layout is set up to be controlled by children as has a number of big green ‘push and hold’ buttons that let up to six trains run around. Sadly often only 2 or 3 work much to the dismay of my son! I suspect if you drop them a line they will have a plan or can send you an overhead photo that you can base yours on.
