Anyone planning on getting Rage 2? It’s due out any day now, kinda slipped under the radar a bit. Really enjoyed the first one so I could be tempted.
No.
And I liked the first one, despite car handling being well sub Motorstorm.

My wife may sympathise, I'll happily sit on Shipfinder telling her where every boat is going when we're at the coast. I must go and feed the pigeons in the park now.
You are evil, I need that for when next on holiday!

Pray tell how on earth did you manage that little trick? I’ve been married just over thirty years and wouldn’t dare attempt such a thing

I paid for some stuff she wanted on card.
Anyway why not, same household, does it matter which account?

That picture
On its own it is funny as it reminds me of an old bloke, not babies. The Danny Baker thing was simply moronic.
However look up the edited version with Bakers head on it, now that is funny.

Unfortunately the only reliable way is to buy off his stall at an exhibition. He will be at Derby this weekend I believe.
And then he doesn't have what you want.
Been there done that.
Still got about 6 Airfix aircons to do and two Lima DMUs.
I am not pestering him I am trying to give him my money

Not sure as wifes account, but statement due this week

Got 8 or so to do and no reply from them so is anyone selling any?

Three and a half weeks now
About £100 order
Getting antsy now,

I now know why it has not appeared here yet.
Our very own news correspondent was doing it on BBC News 24.

My two Precision tins are pretty low and I still have 3 DMU vehicles and also another 4 Mark 1 TSOs.
Phoenix are not doing any as mine contains lead they reckon (bought from Churchdown).
Any ideas please?
(Best would be "I have a couple if you want them")
I can save what I have for the Mk1s. If something 95% similar would do for B430

Well they do accept cards, just only at one desk, so that’s moot.
You’d also be a massive prat for being one of those people who can’t possibly get around a supermarket without eating something.
Not so much that but force someone to use a telephone to shop, stuff that.

What happens if you eat an item and offer tto pay cash or card and they do not accept.

There are no BMW engines in 45s or 25s Jim, just the 75.
I have a ZT with one but rover planned to replace it with a 16v version of the L series called the G series this engine did actually see in some obscure Chevrolet.
The BMW engine isn't too bad but its very heavy and in basic form only puts out 115 bhp which is pathetic for a 2.0 16v common rail turbo diesel, I have had it remapped and removed the EGR so its now around 170-175 bhp and more economical.
My ZR is the rover L series has had a remap before I got it and that is 170bhp but quite smokey and not as economical as it could be but extremely fast and that is only an 8v ,I intend to get another remap and different MAF sensor to reduce the smoke
Such a convoluted history the old B series and is descendants.
All the 2.0l engines were descended from them until MG Rover went bump and BMW brought in its Diesels and then Ford for everything to LR.
The G Series was a missed opportunity, but wasn't development around same time as the TD engines? At least the 5 made it to production.
G was 8v and 16v common rail.
TD was 4 5 6 cylinder 2 valve per cylinder unit injectors.
2 modern 4 cylinder Diesels which never made it to their designed homes.

Sent a cheque off two weeks ago.
Still waiting.
Can someone kick his leg please?
-
If I was going on a long trip I would take some spares.
2 airbags
1 spare hydraulic hose
1 injector loom
1 crank sensor
1 aux belt
1 set injector seals
engine oil & other fluids
set of filters
This is for a vehicle with air suspension and active ARBs.
Of the spares some are for damage replacement, some are semi consumables and one is only sensor which can disable the engine.
This is a 15 year old car

OK I have been thinking on this, day accurate modelling is out, no way could I do it, for a start I never spotted one place for a whole day.
Month?
Year?
I cannot get my interests lower than 6 years, so my railway will be for 6 years range, covering the important for me.
Early spotting days and seeing PWM650 fresh from repaint (yes I am building it), an Eastern region aircon set heading to South Wales. Blue Met Camm 101s, Leander on railtours.
Then 50 refurb and 28th November 1981 railtours (I have 22 just because Lima made it).
Then my main spotting era through the early 80s. Peaks 50s 47s ect
Ending up with GWR150 got 34666 4575 4406 on the kitchen table, all Triang based cut and shut TSOs with Replica glazing.
Hence Also need Dumbleton Hall, and the above Castles.
Area trying to cover Gloucester Cheltenham Stroud valley area, so thinking of keeping a station open which shut between Worcester and Cheltenham.

I have decided that one of mine needs to be. I reckon I can get away with 3 Castles on my Blue era railway, but I need to get them still.

I have to agree that "modern" comedy, I find anything but funny. Fortunately my Grandad ensured a steady supply of Goodies etc. and we still have a few 78s, one of which is the Ying Tong Song with I'm walking Backwards for Christmas. It was no shock to my family when I chose a Spike Milligan poem for school poetry day - On the Ning Nang Nong. I was definitely born in the wrong era!
Having said that - Blackadder, The Young Ones, Kenny Everett. Love them and they were all present through my childhood.
I find Not Going Out very funny and reminds me of older quality studio sit coms

Never had any issues with Precision Rail Blue, I buy the bigger tinlets

The Parkin book is good, but you can scale up a 4mm model for some sizes, also BR use standard size components, like 2 foot wide doors.
A BG would provide a roof and underframe, pictures would help on details, sides and ends are flat
For those interested in old cars.
