I need to spend around £100 on bits with them but keep getting no response.
Does anyone here know him personally and give him a prod to take my order?
Thanks
Martin

A member on another forum I use, lives in Christchurch and his son is friends with the son of the chap who took bullets to protect his sons.
The one on BBC News father and son.
It is really hard for him as he knew a few victims.

Ah - but if RTR models ran forever, or were easily repairable, you wouldn't need to buy a replacement, would you?
It's called built-in obsolescence and future-proofing sales !!
What me? Cynical? How dare you?
Regards,
John Isherwood.
Simple, you cannot have too many engines. (Well you can like more than 22 production Deltics or 50 50s)

Will be interesting this weekend.

All I can say is a great loss.
I bothered Parkside for years for some Tube wagons and some 21ton hoppers, and yes I bought quite a few.
I reckon a quarter to third of my fleet is Parkside

I might have a part completed Bar Car. Would you like me to see if it is this coach? It was a test build by Geoff Brewin from the original etch.
Phil
I already have the Bar car, running in a rake of 2D aircons. 1883 and 1106 are very similar style, but I have no information about 1106 visiting the Western Region (I saw 1883 in Gloucester twice)

I found a part finished Mark 1 Booth Car last weekend, I need to finish it then realise completely unsuitable as I bought the sides by accident (wanted Bar Car)

Very sad news, I have a lot of wagons and have met the Cambrian brothers a couple of times.
RIP and my condolances.

I saw an Allegro last week

'R's
I cannot see why anyone would miss them out, or not add them when necessary.
Softening Ts can happen, but losing the Rs never.
But brand names working on trailing As to replace ER do get corrected.

Someone in our local paper says it is being withdrawn from mainline operation.

I am enjoying this series.
Howver the BBC show needs mute on one part time presenter

I think my best ever in a game was top 1500 woldwide in Killzone3.
Destiny has a good app, I can swap gear around without having to go to the tower to shove it in the vault. Only issue it those effing captas for PSN login

Makes me laugh - in a good way

No two sites I go onto have the same password. I use a formula to make a different one for each site. There are also 3 formulas,
the easiest is just forum passwords. (and I don't use my real name)
the next is for accounts where I buy things..
The hardest is for the credit card, it's the only place I use it, (but having a formula makes it for me easier to remember.)
I don't have account banking online..
As for the email account's unless Gmail and BT have been hacked they only have the account name not the password and of course they are different..
Yahoo have been hacked and they run a lot of BT email addresses

I have seen gushing comments on rather shonky pieces of work, seems odd to me, I KNOW I am rather average, but will have a go.
You can like that someone has tried, but some times you look at a model and think would it pass the 3 foot or now I suppose 1m (scale 250 feet) rule.
I prefer honesty - sorry Martin, that bit is wrong is fine.
I have learnt though from my own work what is acceptable paint wise and how it looks close up, I have mentioned it before along lines of.
Pictures show up every defect, yet in real life looks great.

Anthem, well I don't have time for more than one permanent time sink, so since i have put so much time and effort in I am staying with Destiny.
I still like other games, recent likes including Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Got Fallout 4 cheap and also Dishonoured 2 cheap.
Put > 100 hours into HZD and Fallout 4, I put 10 to 15 a week into Destiny 2.
Longest play times Destiny 1 or 2, then the other, then Killzone 3 MP, then Uncharted 2 MP, then the roaming games like FO4 and HZD.
Oh and I have some of the most used PS Move controllers, around 400 hours on my pair, on 5 games, (most on KZ3 MP).

That’s it! Although I the name I recall is ‘Fratton Bargain Shop’... My excuse is that, coming from Southampton, Pompey was enemy territory!
I bought a wrecked Hornby 47 from them I detailed and painted as WR named one

That avatar looks good Tony, as to proper model shops I grew up near Gloucester.
I can remember Fletchers in KIngs Square, good, bought some Mainline Mk1s from there, also start of Lima. Another model shop up Westgate Street RTR and miserable owner.
Later The Model Shop and Cotswold Models, bought lots from those two, including Mainline Peaks at £7.50 each and most of my Airfix aircon stuff.
Also not too far frm Cheltenham Model Centre. I knew Trevor
There were other Gloucester Model Shops including one up Eastgate which opened after I ended up in Worcester, here is not great for models, had Antics and a small independent did spend money there, for my Heljan City of Truro and Bachmann Evening Star.

Triangs are so cheap on Ebay as well, buy a few, modify window size, a few Replica bits and they are fine, got a RMB and BG in one set. Detailing a BSK and making a TSO for my GWR150 set.
If you forget the Triang frames and use Replica glazing they are easy to cut and shut.
Treat them like a kit or scratch aid and all is OK
