Still doing the window sills, I will thin the lintels when fully set, but I have not got any decent 5 thou card. I used offcuts from a DMU cut.

And the Bachmann 101 is slightly wrong and also not suitable for many people as two car, so stocking with older models, I could do with some Lima 101 to produce a couple more 3 cars. Anyway I will be doing some 120ing tomorrow

As usual the Swindon cross country DMU polled highly and was ignored. AGAIN Will there ever be an RTR model of one?

I am currently converting a Hornby branded ex Airfix 2P to MR condition. Why? No idea, doesn't fit but anyway. Body needs a lot of work. Tender to be sold. LRM tender under construction Comet chassis under construction 4 coupled, no connecting rods, I hope it will run OK. Will have a Highflyer gearbox most likely.

The station is for my Cornish branch project, 5 layers of plastic card, about 1/3rd through making. Currently working on window sills and plinths. The tender is a LRM MR tender for my 2P project, this will be one of the pair which were the last MR 2Ps at Gloucester. It will be similar era to my IC DMU! -
I am not a name but met quite a few. All were happy to share their knowleage and enthusiasm.

It was big engined and cheap. Engine kept blowing head gaskets. Rear calipers were poor. this was around 76 or 77. I have driven newer Fords and found them not as good as similar GM cars, like my old Carlton or Omegas. My last Omega was about 13 years old, no rust, bores like new, got written off by a car in front having a wheel explode. I took heads off as ported.

My dad bought one to tow a boat and it was very unreliable. Less power than my old Rootes1600 and less torque and power than my current 2.5l Diesel. My last petrol was 100cc bigger. 80bhp more and just reliable.

That looks like it has been painted after a holiday in South Wales, very effective.

Just blew £35 or so on paint BR maroon, maroon roof grey and DMU green.

More window filing but also started on plinth bricks, long edge done, will soon start drawing up the signal box. Also the roofs and canopy. Getting low on brick plastic card, I hope I have enough for the box. Doesn't look much different despite 6 hours of work

Due to interruptions, this weekend was mainly IC sides, lugged 5 so far, ready 1, at least 2 layers laminated 6.

Lost 4 layers of IC unit AND another is badly cut. Just running off another set. Some of the skins are not good, may need to do a couple more.

The Inter City set is slowly coming along, currently working on the locating strips, also 3 chassis are slightly warped so will remove all detail and weight them down.

Still filling and filing to do the window sills. Slow job as need to let it dry between coats.

I few thoughts. World leaders. I am wary of cheats and vegetarians so ended up with Churchill. And colston leads to Bristol statues . Replace all statues in Bristol with Wallace and Gromit.

I can't think of any. Railtec are too busy, CCT are not that bothered, HMRS no idea
