    All assembly diagrams should be on Bachamnns web site at http://www.Bachmann.co.uk/service/assmbly.php However they seem to have deleted the 4 tank from the list whilst keeping both versions of 4-6-0 on it. A quick look up the cat nos gives the service sheet pdf for the tank as being http://www.Bachmann.co.uk/pdfs/32-350.pdf

    Its not unknown for Hattons to overcharge which will probably come as a surprise to those who think Hattons are always the cheapest Normally its a rounding up to the nearest pound, ie they charged 5.00 for some Farish wagons which had a list price of 4.75 and typically could be found for 4.25 nearly everywhere else.

    The Bromsgrove site links to a relatively old Steve Jones article on a web archive. http://web.archive.org/web/20080102185154/www.electricnose.co.uk/dcc/dccbachmann08.html Whilst that is useful for the dismantling the model process the actual decoder (lenz LE1025A) used is pretty much extinct today. If its any help mine has a TCS MC2 in it which fits the chassis neatly.

    As far as I am aware he does not take credit cards anyway (I assume that rules out debit ones as well). Not been in there since I bought a tin of varnish only to find it completely dried up
