Could I ask what about a decoder from yourselves, for example I have a 37 DCC ready from one of your retailers, but purchased your decoder and speaker direct from yourselves. Does this mean they are not covered, they are third party additions in a sense, but purchased from you direct for one of your locos. Thank you

Just received my Network Rail Green Caroline from Rails of Sheffield - very well packed and quick delivery. Had one roof horn missing off the roof, a shorter one, however it was in the box. Will have to fix it in place at some point, it has not snapped off as it has the plug to fit in the hole, just looks like no glue (or not enough) used to fix in place. Otherwise with a quick look at it, it looks fantastic

That's quite a distance!! Not a problem. I'm sure the wait will be worth it though, I was unsure how Hornby would get the finish done, but hats off to them I think they have done very well

It has a nice shine to it. I would say not full gloss, but between satin sheen and gloss. Looks great in my eyes. Nice shine without looking toy like. I've taken a few pics but hard to show as the clouds have just rolled in

I was surprised by a text this morning with a 1 hour warning of delivery, when it had said Monday. In its temporary home for the time being. Will be fitted with sound and running around in due course. Felt strange having this in my hands at this time.

Last time I was at Caistor Loco in Lincolnshire they had a large stock of locos, rolling stock and accessories, including many items sold out at Bachmann. John Dutfield in Chelmsford also has plenty of rolling stock. I am sure there are many others, focus on shops without websites to increase chances of finding particular items is my advice

Interestingly the product info on Hornby's website does not mention that sound is fitted. Is this why the price is not a lot higher than standard models? A bit confused as to whether they now come with sound or not
