2 Years ago around this time waether had been OK then it suddenly snowed and continued to do so for around 2.5 days, 14" recorded here, never been known before, it was strange to see people walking the 1.5 miles to the nearest shops to buy food which had not been delivered as the roads had not been cleared!

Still wary. I remember the long hot summer of 1976. Yet a cricket match was snowed off on the 1st June!!!
