I see two un-extraditable Russians have been charged with the Salisbury nerve attack. At times like this I wonder: whatever happened to Adolf Eichmann....?

I'm sure RMweb is moving away from modelling that makes your hands dirty.

There seems more than the usual confrontational/argumentative type threads than usual. Is it because the weather's so cr@p and folks are getting cabin fever?

Things got that bad that some lunatic announced one of the main reasons he goes to exhibitions is to start fights with people wearing back packs, belittle exhibitors, berate traders and electrocute people with a 1000V megger tester. And carries a petrol driven chainsaw in case things get nasty at exhibitions. What sort of person posts on this board?! Oh hang on, that was me.

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my trains, in this life or the next.

Bags...packed. Handover...complete. Flights...confirmed and checked in, with boarding passes printed. Taxi... booked for in a couple of hours' time. It's been a busy 74 days on board. Now looking forward to my first beer when I get to Pisa airport. Bring it on!

open day done! Now decision time Physics or History degree?
-
If you like both subjects then physics will have better career potential basically because it requires a high degree of mathematical understanding. And a good grasp of maths opens up many doors regardless of whether you want to work in physics or not. However, if you're passionate about history and not hot on physics it might be better to do history.

People in public office (including councillors) set a tone and when they say things like that it gives a green light to others that such comments are considered to be acceptable. As such those in office should know better and refrain from such idiocy, even if it was meant in jest (and I'm not altogether sure I'd give him the benefit of that doubt).

I'm too terrified to walk out of my own front door, They're demonstrating outside I think they're gonna start the third world war, I've been to my local head shrinker, To help classify my disease, He said it's one of the cases of acute schizophrenia he sees.
