I may as well go all in and ask for a new Pendolino too. I never got on with the single powered bogie in that - it just made them like buckaroos at the slightest blip of power, or when slowing down, or when speeding up......

If I gave the proper Northern response to that I'd get kicked off the site 🤣

@McC I reckon you guys are just about mad enough to be preparing an all new, all singing and dancing Class 373 Eurostar with all coach variants tooled ready for Eurotunnel's 30th anniversary in 2024.
You could do two Anniversary packs (plus some anniversary 92's such as 92001 as built) - one Eurostar in original livery, the other in current livery and then coach packs similar to how you are selling the Mk.5's.
Not only can you do these, you could do the shorter North London sets in both de-branded Eurostar and GNER White Rose liveries as running on the ECML in the early 2000's
My first run on the ECML was on a White Rose set Doncaster - KGX so I would quite like one

Cab front vents
So that's what they are!
They were the first things I noticed when I took the loco out of the box.
The glazing is ok on all of mine except D9000 where the etched frames don't quite fit, but all the ones with white cab surrounds seem to be better than the blues anyway.

KOYLI and Alycidon have now been picked up from work;
KOYLI is perfect out the box and Alycidon just has a scratch through one of her numbers. I'll have to decide if it bothers me enough to warrant removing the affected number and applying a replacement. I might yet be removing them anyway to change her to 55009 with suitable red bits on the nose ends - Maybe this is a sign telling me to do it 😉

cor is this the model manufacturers version of a spot the ball competition?
😆 Special because it had something less.
The first run was actually correct for the set's current condition and I believe most of it's testing career.
On the conversation of what-if's (and before we get told off for going off topic) - I think some ABP white and blue Chaldrons would look nice as would a Deltic in Apple Green as per my old drawing below;
@Accurascale Fran You know you want to do it 😅

But what made it special then? The model itself, which hasn’t changed apart from two fictional livery options, or the exclusivity?
First run of the APT-E had dual wipers at one end, single wiper at the other.
Second run has twin wipers both ends. As far as I'm aware this is the only physical change to the model, though the other goodies in the box and the box itself are different IIRC.

Over 400 sheets at the moment.
So that's enough for a sound fitted Rapido APT-E with five days to go. Not bad going!

Useful to know that DPS are using RM rather than dedicated parcel carriers.So it came with the postie?Well, not the regular postie, but a Royal Mail parcels van that is usually about 20 mins behind the regular one.

Did DPS let you know it had been dispatched.
Yes I received an email with the royal mail item number (just signed for, not tracked sadly)

Then let the eBay extortion begin....
I was honestly expecting a sound fitted Gordon to appear on eBay first.
On a lighter note, Tulyar has just arrived from the DPS;
Perfect right out of the box, and suitably posed with RSG;
This just leaves KOYLI and Alycidon to pick up on Monday which are waiting for me at work.

There is now only one Deltic left - and only one of it at that; D9020 Nimbus.

True to form, Facebook over the past two weeks has been full of people recieving Deltics who have absolutely no clue, are screaming into the void about non issues (or things that have been remedied / fixed on here in a matter of minutes) and are generally not being helpful to Accurascale's image at all.
If I wrote a list of everything I have seen you would all tell me I was joking, but the latest one was this;
Someone is kicking off because they ordered and received 55002 FYE but they were expecting D9002 as preserved.
This apparently is Accurascale's fault as they have got the numbering wrong and is Locomotion's fault for sending the wrong one. Have they contacted anyone at Accurascale? No. Have they contacted anyone at Locomotion? No. Will they admit they ordered the one they received? No.

Now I have a big dilemma. It's not about choosing between variants as I've already gone for Current IC Sound fitted. It's do I go for GNER gold as well? 😅

A tiny bit more expensive than I expected, but not too bad given that other running numbers are not an option without doing *what if* liveries.
Anyway, that's current condition sound fitted ordered!

I guess I better just cross my fingers for either a second run of Gordon in purple, or TTG with Wipacs (which I think looks really smart)

No, partially is for preorders. Any questions at all, do reach out to support@accurascale.co.uk as this thread is for the Deltic.
Sorry just a little wound up that was all. Us mobile users always seem to get the short end of the stick with website design. I've sent an email to support so I'm waiting for a reply.

You can reorder, altho the stock is not hanging about, so I'd recommend ordering, or getting in touch with the support team, as I can't help from here.
My class 92 is due to arrive before the partial/ly payment plan finishes - will this magically be cancelled and refunded when the loco arrives into stock?

On mobile that texts appears below all the payment options, so unless you scroll past those and to the bottom of the page you never see them.
In other words what you're saying is I've missed the boat and there's nothing I can do.

Just now, McC said:
Partial.ly splits are only for preorders.
You can use PayPal Credit, or Clearpay to split in stock items as well as paying using Paypal, Cards, etc. If the order auto cancelled as it was in stock, you'll need to reorder I'm afraid.
The order shows I can choose an alternate way to pay, but it will not let me do that and it will not let me reorder.

Spare Deltics have now been listed by Accurascale
I got my email for D9016, paid using the payment plan and then had my order cancelled by partial/ly as it's an in-stock item. I've sent an email to Accurascale to see if this can be fixed as I haven't been given another option to pay.
Just thought I'd let people know as the checkout accepts a payment plan option.

Having deliberated over wanting a 92 for a while, specifically GBRF 92032, I have eventually decided to order the Accurascale exclusive 92022 in RFD with polos - the livery is just way too nice to pick any other.
