  1. Got the 104 ready to begin the paint stages, today etch primer, will be doing the SUB chassis at the same time. Michael
  2. I’ve got as far as grey primer and then marked for the rivets on the 304 bogies. The axle box covers were spares from Easy build bogies. The gloss varnish is being applied at the moment. Tomorrow onwards is apply the Archers rivets. Also been making up the lamp irons for the 104 Michael

  4. Had our monthly meeting last Sunday, shortly after the meeting started but after the cup of tea lost power into the hall. Turns out later we find out it was the mains cable in the middle of the road that had gone Michael
  5. I’ve done a bit more to the 304 bogies and also cut a few of the 104 partitions out. Still need cleaning up Michael
  6. Thanks Been working on the pantograph today. The kit is from PRMRP. Nearly there with it, probably add the rest after painting Michael

  9. Forgot to add earlier that fitted the dome and cut the roof to shape on the 104 and made a start on the plastic for the interior Michael

I've finally got round to having another go at making the bogie masters Gresley EMU bogies, this time using surface rivets (never used these so any tips would be great) As the leaf springs aren't fully visible, I've cheated a bit and used a piece of Evergreen strip, done a bit of scoring and curved it to shape. Also now glazed the 06 Michael
  11. Started to get some transfers and bit more paint on the 06 Michael

For the locomotives I'm planning to reintroduce the Warship kit with the variations in the roof the both the Swindon and NBL versions (another one awaiting the licence) For the Steam locos most of the BR and LMS need to look at the drawings to get the boiler right for a start, For the SR still need more drawings There will be surprises along the way and will be announced in due course Michael

For the Multiple units I'm waiting for the window overlays for the 110 along with more resin parts, I've done the drawing for the other style of 105 DMBS (haven't sent away yet) still need to redo the ends for 108 and also for the 128 I'm awaiting for the 4-CEP motor coaches to arrive, still haven't got the drawing for the driving end. Also I would like to do a 306, awaiting a few more drawings for this Michael
  14. Working up to the bigger items, Coaches and NPCS Well actually its all the NPCS, in the pipeline there'll a kit for the Fruit D, SR uneven and plywood CCT and PMV and a possibility of the SR plastic PMV. These will be resin with etched parts Michael
  15. Since coming back from offline line, I've built an 06 shunter and made up the hornblocks to finish the CCT's and some wagons Michael
  16. Forgot to add etched Flatrol MHH to come as well, awaiting a commercial licence so I can get a drawing Michael

First of a couple of posts in giving updates to work progress and planned items I’ll start off with the smaller items, wagons Work still going on for the LNER and LMS van bodies, planned will be also BR diagram 1/204 (planked, should be able to do 1/200 plywood one) 1/206 shock van Need to do some masters for the SR Ballast Plough, might have to be temporary without the ploughs (my guess would be 3D printed for these but don’t ask how!) Same for the BR Ballast Plough There will be etched kits for the SR Even plank and Uneven plank Brake vans Would like to do the BR Blue spot van dis 1/801 (BR clasp brake gear) Michael

  19. Yes that's definitely in the pipeline one day, probably the bodyshell for the 501 with etches for the grilles on the same sheet Michael

  21. Due to Easter falling on our Monthly meeting, as wasn't sure who wanted to come along, we decided to hold another meeting this coming Sunday. Turns out 12 came along last Sunday Michael
  22. Not sure whether anyone else has seen this Annual Show | Association of Larger Scale Railway Modellers (alsrm-events.co.uk) but the annual show has been cancelled Michael
  23. I've got paint and numbers on the SUB motor coaches, lurking there as well is CCT and also a China Clay both of which had been waiting for numbers for ages and also the other Flatrol MVV which haven't numbered yet Michael
