  1. And got the SUB motor coaches into primer Michael
  2. I've marked out the NSE livery on the inspection saloon, would of had paint on it sooner if realised hadn't got enough paint for it, d'oh. Have now. Also added conduit and the rain strip to the SUB motor coaches Michael
  3. And believe both of the Bulleid coaches done as well, well once i've screwed bogies on Michael
  4. I've had back the etches for the as built 308/1 (refurbished at least the Driving trailer which had the toilet in was modified), Also this covers the 308/3 version. I've pretty much done the 308/2 MLV drawing. Haven't seen any drawings for the 308/2 rebuilt MLV apart from what's in the diagram book. Michael
  5. Have now got some paint on the 304, definite lack of interior pic, seen 1 only. Michael
  6. I'd glued the sides, roof and ends together on the SUB motor coaches, marking and drilling roof first. Rubbed down the gutter on the roofs as the gutter is higher up and started the process of filling and rubbing and repeating till smooth, no doubt will see the misses once paints on it. Also showing the pic of the nearly completed ABS brakevan Michael
  7. Over the Christmas period, decided to catch up with a few of my own things that hadn't got round to finishing for several years. I'd had a part built Slaters CCT which still needed the sprung axleguards in place along with the axleboxes. Also needed the window bars and buffers adding. All I've left now to do is add couplings and the vac/steam pipes. Hopefully won't be so long on that. Also pictured is the Platforms for an ABS BR Brakevan, another one that was part finished, just need to paint the roof and add the side airpipes now. The straight pieces of wire are corridor handrails for a Westdale tin 2-HAL, still need to glue in place and finish the underframe on that one though. Michael
  8. Yes, I'm the contact for the group or Brian Read, unfortunately haven't got control over the former website/email address. Next meeting is the 17th January (I'm at work then) Michael
  9. I needed to push on with a couple of 4-SUB motor coaches, looking at my original driving end thought it would save me time in the long run to modify it and add the jumper sockets etc. Ready for moulding next once Christmas break over with. Michael
  10. Finished the flatrol, cant remember where i got the lashing rings from as had them a while Michael
  11. I’ve got the numbers on the Flatrol and also put some etch primer on the inspection saloon with the 304 as well Michael
  12. I've done a bit more on the inspection saloon, added the interior partitions and also the underframe, just need to cast some of the underframe boxes next Michael
  13. A few days late in saying that altered website a bit, added a separate page containing new price list. Most importantly is that launched the Derby lightweight and class 104 DMU at last Michael
  14. Got the Ironclads nearly reading for some paint and also done the moulding and castings of the exhaust pipes for the DMU's Michael
  15. Trying to get back into the swing of things after being away for a bit. Been getting roofs cut and ready. Pictured are the Derby lightweight, Ironclad (upturned) and 304 MBS Also been doing exhaust pipes for the 104 and Derby lightweight Michael
  16. I shall be using this style I designed Michael
  17. If anyone wants even larger sheets try these https://www.plasticstockist.com/High-Impact-Polystyrene-Sheet.aspx For a large quantity as well definitely worth it. At least one side will be glass though. No connection just happy customer. Michael
  18. Got a bit further with the 304 and also the Flatrol’s. I’ve been adding some underframe boxes and also some end steps/handrails. Had to fettle one on the smaller boxes on the MBS where it’s sits on the trussing. Added a few more bits to the flatrols. Michael
  19. I’ve been working on the Flatrols. I used a couple of wooden dowels as formers for the ends. Michael
  20. I’ve started adding the plastic on the Ironclads and also started the other 2 coaches for the 304. Realised that hadn’t done the mould yet for the 304 DTBS. Doh Michael
  21. It was good to have a club meeting a few weeks back without a restriction on numbers. So at long last I can announce that next meeting, which all are welcome is the 19th September Michael
  22. I've received the etched seat legs back. Price per DMU coach will be £22.50, which includes the cast seats whether straight across or scalloped (i.e. for the 105) Michael
  23. A little more progress on things. I’ve added some ends on the Ironclad push pull and also the lifting points on the 304 (strange that the 305/308 didn’t have these). Also started one of 2 of a Flatrol MVV Michael
