  1. There speaks a man who has obviously used the Index on a number of occasions.

I certainly do use the index an awful lot & I use this specific thread as my first port of call when I need info  :O

The index is a great addition, I find it easier to use than the overall search facility on rmweb  :nono:

............and if you can't find the answer, ask the question as recently with Kadee couplers, not much info originally but question asked, answers given & now in index  :scratchhead:

A great source of information, thank you Jeff & fellow Lunesters  :locomotive:

I think we have the start of Wiki Lunester  :jester:

  2. I think you've put around 500 posts into KL, Andy. The humour index would probably include over 450 of yours. Too big - YES!!

I think the person who compiled the list would go insane! I'm mad enough without doing that! Maybe Andy should be given the task!!

And btw - no pics from Glenfinnick yet - but I think he's been grassing...

Talking of which - I need to start stocking up with my standard Earth mix and Green mix bags of Woodland Scenics...

    Jeff

Their is already a world shortage of timber & plaster now your going to cause a problem with the very ground we walk on

Soon there will be nothing left for us, just Luneside Fell for us to look at in amazement & awe  :locomotive:

  3. Completely off-thread, but Jeff, you're from Darlington, are you not?  Look the other way and experience the pleasures of the seaside!

Middlesborough, scenic Thornaby, Redcar, Whitby West Cliff, Fyling Hall, Scarborough...  all courtesy Hornby. I don't think those Thompson 'Washing Machines' ever made it to Blea Moor but they had to work around the Coast alright!  Nicer with an NER A8 really.

    Autumnal weather here in NZ.

    Cheers,

A great looking scene, I can smell the sea air, & I think Whitby Abbey is just coming into view

  4. Thanks for that update Jason, I will visit Howard's Scenic's over the weekend with a view to ordering some gear, you should be on commission with all your suppliers, I was ordering from Parkside yesterday following one of your posts.

  5. Sounds like some kind of funeral directors.... anyone remember Bootsie and Snudge from the 1960s?

Just re-stocked with another 15kg of plaster powder. Time to go and do some botching of plywood in the bunker.

It'll be interesting to see what you've been discussing when I next look on here!

    Jeff

I certainly do remember Bootsie & Snudge, I think it was a follow up to The Army Game with Alfie Bass & Bill Fraser.

They don't make them like that any more

Although I think we need to wait & see how a full series of Botchit & Bodget   :scratchhead:

  6. Hi Jeff, you should collect £1 a go at guessing you BIG SECRET THAT WILL CHANGE KL FOREVER, hahhahhehehehehahhahahahh

You would have enough for another Brit or Clan, hhhaaaa

    Bodgit :sungum:

I hope this BIG SECRET doesn't involve dressing up in strange clothing & dancing around (what have you started Andy in lounge thread)

Yes, Jeff's a Morris Dancer  :declare:

What a load of bells

  7. The Parkside hoppers are lovely to make Billy; they take a bit of time to ensure there is minimal flash, to line everything up and add the handrails but as long as you are patient and follow the instructions, they aren't difficult at all.J

    Jason

Just been on the http://www.parksidedundas.co.uk/index.html website my first visit some great looking gear I will put an order together over the next couple of days. I have no rolling stock whatsoever so will order a number of different items to take a look at & try out

I need a lot of mineral wagons so seems a good place to start, prices are pretty good too, which is a good thing as I need a lot of practice on weathering techniques.
