I do like the German rolling stock. Are there any kits available, or is it all RTR? The Lenz couplings do remind me of the big fugly Hornby ones and possibly detract a little from otherwise excellent models.

Any idea why the first sleeper past the VEE on the straight is angled? There doesnt appear to be a need for this and it looks a bit strange.

I like the idea of the "kit in a bag" with everything required and the frog, vee and blades ready made and a laser cut wooden sleeper base. A 36" or 42" radius left, right and Y would be ideal for small layouts. Fifty quid (give or take a bit) would seem reasonable. Didnt they say that last year?

Agreed. I may have a chat with C&L after they get back to normal and enquire if they would be prepared to do a small radius left, right & wye as complete kits.

Ahh yes, I was looking at those. Would still prefer a smaller one though, as I dont fancy making the vees and blades.

Looking at the C&L website and they dont seem much smaller (or cheaper) than the Pecos.
