    Went for a walk and forgot to put in a final bid on Ebay. Item went for a lot less than I would have paid, and I've only seen 4 of them in 9 years! Aaaaargh!!

      Yes, but if you'd bid, the chances are it would have gone for more than you would have paid.... You've saved money!

      I wouldn't have minded bidding and losing - at least I would have tried. But I was prepared to go to almost 3 times what it went for - I think I would have been in with a good chance.
