  1. Hi All Any idea how to access the website? There is a pop up with regard to Cookies and privacy, plus data I click the “I agree” and nothing happens or removes so I can view or access the website?
  2. Any update when the refurbished sound chip will be available again?
  3. Hello All i just spoken to David at Ultrascale, the parts for the railbus with be discontinuing at the end of the year, if you need your models repaired with part, I’d get them ordered!
  4. Gives me time to save up! You guys are doing a great job, in any business there’s always set backs, it’s all about communication! with regard to the taillights these would have been right in the early years, going to Probably 80s the switch had a mod where there was a bar across both switches to turn it on, and then with the NR 31, the taillights control at the end, so No. 1 end would control No.1 taillights where as originally no.1 end would control No2 end taillights.
  5. It’s Arrived! Like I said, wasn’t planning to buy it, but 409 looked lonely 🤣 now the wife moaning about large parcels being delivered! But I never say anything about her Amazon stuff🙄
  6. Just wanted to improve it! But I’ve found a fault with the motor now, the loco was never very good when running, I fitted the sound chip myself but wanted to improve the sound quality, unfortunately the speaker wire was become detached from the chip and speaker. I originally put the speaker in the cab at the time, was the only way to fit the chip and speaker
  7. I believe my 08 has got either V3 or V3.5 decoder, is there any suppliers that supply 100 0hm speakers?
  8. Hi All I’ve got several locos in my collection that have ESU sound decoders. From V3 to V5 can you tell me the ohm value for the speaker’s for each of the decoders because I can’t remember?
  9. I had an accident yesterday, ordered the last 37402 off the website! Wasn’t planning to buy it either, I’m sure it will be fine on my layout with 37409! Just got to save up for the sound chip at some point! Got to do a couple of RDW this month 🤪
  10. I’ve tried to look on here for an answer on this page but can’t find it, Accurascale team might be able answer?I’ve recently pre ordered 66779 non sound as the sound was out of stock, can I be put on a list if the opportunity arises if there is a DCC sound available or will the 66 be able to buy and fit the sound chip and speaker to the loco? 👍🏻
  11. Right that will explain it then! Is there plans for the system to come over to the UK?
  12. Hi all I’m thinking of updating my dcc controller to ESU, I’ve been looking at 50113 ECoS MOBILE CONTROL HANDSET, I’ve looked on WSD website and it says you need 50210 controller for it to work? Is this true? The video from ESU says you don’t, just need some clarity?
  13. I was reading on the website about these coaches, Marylebone set can some one tell me how many coaches I need and how many for each type?
  14. Is there going to be announcement what the future liveries are going to be? Slowing selling my old stock to replenish for new models! Just managed to get a 37/0 sound chip 👍🏻
  15. Mick, as they have had their last overhaul, the mods they have done is to have LED hi intensity light, this has been angled differently to the original. Don’t want to glare other drivers when driving 👍
  16. Only the 31/4s had the electromagnetic clutch when converted, very different to the class 37 but the principles are the same. All the Network Rail 31s had the clutch fitted at there last overhaul in 2007 plus a pre heater ( 31105, 31233, 31465 & 31285)
  17. Unfortunately mate, it wasn’t me that didn’t do it, NR had to get a contractor in to fix it due to not having enough staff, the lad worked for DEDU at the time. I had a good chat with the lad that did it!
  18. Mick, it’s not always the engine that is generated the power, we had problems with 303, just not powering right, very sluggish, I believe the field divert/resistant came out of adjustment and it took several attempts to get it in tolerance, Caroline was also in the formation as stock. @big jimi remember terry being the driver. After some find tuning, it was a different beast!
  19. Mick, the small details we do want to get it right for the loco. We just haven’t had time, most of the team do still work so the running repairs and servicing is the priority.
  20. As one of the trustees of the Heavy Tractor group just like to apologise for not it being clear on the link to when you pay for the loco, our aim has always to try to recreate her in 1980/90s livery’s from the start. One reason she has got modern warning OLE stickers is for her to be able to drag her on the mainline at the time of her last repaint. Due to the rising cost of insurance and any delays minutes would be pass on to us. We have decided currently she won’t be going on the mainline. We are planning her her next repaint to be in the same livery. Sorry about the confusion. I can’t wait for the model to arrive!
  21. It’s a real shame! I’ve worked on all 4 locos traction motor change!
  22. So there are two types of bogies, fabricated and cast, the fabricated one has you can tell have a lot of welding, with the cast ones they are a lot smother finish.
