    I've just read through this thread as I'm trying to source additional Virgin coaches for my HST. The Farish ones are awful compared to Dapol but I'm stuck unless I take the loco hauled ones and cut the buffers off and run the wrong numbers! Why oh why did Dapol not just make unumbered coaches and supply transfers with different numbers? I much prefer my Dapol HST to my Farish one but I'm getting really annoyed at not being able to complete my train! I'd also like a rerun of the Neon FGW bookset too.

    Hi Ian Thanks for taking the time to talk to me on Saturday and also for your explanation as to how your computer system runs your layout. Given that Banbury was the main reason I travelled all the way up from Portsmouth (dragging my poor wife with me) I certainly wasn't disappointed. I also think you should give your layout a lot more credit than you do - it's one of the best I've seen and it's definitely made me want to get started on my own creation of Westbury.     WOW!!!!!! I saw this layout in Railway Modeller and thought it was superb...........then I stumbled across it on here! Ian, I'm amazed that you can create so much detail in N Gauge and I can't wait to see your layout at Warley. Hats off to you sir! Mike

    I've just stumbled across this from looking at images of Edinburgh Waverley station. I'd just like to say that how anyone can make something so convincingly real is completely beyond my comprehension and is a credit to your modelling skills. Looking through the many pages of this thread I've seen the most amazing insight into a hobby I've just gotten back in to after a 30 year absence. Please, please, keep the pictures coming and thank you for sharing such a wonderful layout. Mike
