Will this new TTS sound system that Hornby are fitting to the C,o,c,k, O North be any better than Hornby`s original digital sound system.

It would be great if Hornby did have two versions of the P2 the second being the streamlined model. I know I would have one of each ,but have name changed from Prince of Wales though.

I think my Bachmann A4 Mallard as more of a gloss than Hornby`s, but I am tempted to give it a coat or two of gloss. My Bachmann S N G I may gloss if I am happy with the Mallard I plan to gloss. The thing is Rob I agree with you about how Bachmann`s S N G looks. D.R.M.

It still seems strange the smoke deflectors being L.N.E.R. green & not being black . I know the real life P2s where painted like that, most P2 photo`s l have seem have been black & white. Anyone know why the smoke deflectors where colour coded on the P2s.

I have always thought that the colours of locos have been very flat looking / matt in colour . The L.M.S. red to me looks very bland, flat / matt to me along with LNER A4s blue colour . D.R.M.

I think would be great to see the rebirth of a 2-8-2 / P2 by the A1 Trust or even by the group here in Doncaster.
