  1. The second batch of BR bauxite 16 ton Mineral wagons, varying from light to heavy. I have also taking advice from the first batch and some coal dust to the sides (I also added this to the first batch). Again feel free to comment, plus more to come!
  2. Ok will check his channel out too! This is the most helpful video I have found on the issue! Thanks for point me in the right direction and I hope they don't mine me post there videos on here.
  3. Just a few scene shots from my review, showing some of the close-ups of the model. Hope these help.
  4. This it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53z9CDxj0xA
  5. Thanks again Stephen will give it a look. If you post a link that would be handy. Sadly I don't know so start PM's on here!
  6. Thanks again! But there are many videos, which one does it feature in?
  7. Super new if you have a video! Would you be able to post a link for me and other on here? If you could?
  8. Thank you ever so much for the information Paul! Very helpful! Sorry if I miss understood the last post. I do have a DCC controller, plus one of my friends has a DCC layout, which I would love to run some of my stock on when visiting. Plus With some of Hornby new TTS sound range being only a few pounds more than the standard model, it is worth a go.
  9. Great to hear steam locos will act correct on DC! So Diesels will not work on DC?
  10. Mines complete, but I would like to add one or two different clips too it!
  11. Thanks mate! Lots more pics to come later! Been very busy with them today and only 3 more to complete! Only they are all done and ready to go back to the guy I am weathering them for, I will post a video of them on my layout behind his Super D I have also done for him! So keep and eye out!
  12. Thanks Matt! More pics to come soon! Been very busy with them today and hope to have everyone finished for this guy in a few days time! Just before they go back I hope to run them all behind his Super D on the main layout and post it on YouTube! So keep an eye out for that!
  13. Apparently from what I have learned is that the chuffing sound from a DCC Steam loco or thrash from a DCC diesel, governed by the voltage going though into the loco (the more voltage the faster the sound), so the chuffing sound should work perfect on DCC. This is something I plan to try out!
  14. With a bit of free time on Boxing Day I decided to down and dirty with the wagons again, to get my friend fleet finished (I hope to finish in the next day or too)! Here are some lightly weather Hornby S&C 20 Ton Hoppers, which I am over the moon with! Tell me what you think them! More pictures of other wagons which where completed today coming soon!
  15. Of course, that is the best option at the moment after having the shop look at it and see what they say. They have a spare one in the shop, as the know I have rotten luck when it comes to all of my new locos this year! Nearly all are second model and one (Bachmann 9F 92233) is the 4th replacement! I'm sure hope that one works, as I have yet to test her!
  16. I will be putting 97301 on order very soon too! Even if the sound function are limited, it is still a smart look and model, plus I will be able to get all the function out of her on my friends DCC layout of the West Somerset Railway! I hope she is not to long in the making too, plus Hornby give her the right nose or change her number, as from my research 97301 has flash ends.
  17. Trust me, it looks extremely good in the flesh! It is just the camera and lighting which make it look bad in my video.
  18. Doh! Forgot totally about the hat! Oh, well! Glad you enjoyed the review and little run at the end! A stunning model! Shame about the wiper on mine, hope to get it replaced, don't seem to be having very much luck with new models this year (all new one have been fault or fall apart)! Sure yours won't though.
  19. We here it is, my review of the ESSO version. Sorry, if I stutter or get my facts wrong in a few places . Running clips at the end (was not run in or tracks cleaned before hand). Hope you enjoy and give you a rough idea of the running capabilities of the model.
  20. Thanks Paul, it is an extremely small part though, plus it a very hard to position place, so will see what the shop say first. What type of glue is low-bloom?
  21. Thank you ever so much Richard, but it will be very fiddly. Will see what the shop say, if not I will give it a go with PVA. Would that be strong enough though, with the tiny amount I plan to use?
  22. Uploading a review of the ESSO one onto YouTube very soon, sadly mine has lost a windscreen wiper. What glue should I use to re attach it? As I have had not much luck with glues in the past, frosting my models.
  23. Santa came 12 hours early today and delivered a box to Signals today! So managed to pick mine up this afternoon!
  24. I hope Signals Models at Midsomer Norton has had this box too!
