Day 3 Dampfspektakle.. BR03 to Saarbrucken, and a trip round freight lines, avoiding lines and triangles of Trier with a noisy BR78 and a BR211. Currywurst and Bitburg once more.
On today’s tour of freight lines I deliberately took the rear coach next to the 211, as I’ve lots of video of the 78 already, but when the 78 let loose on the run to Schweich... it drowned out the sound of the 211 which was going flat out too !! Front coach must have hearing loss !
