  1. I was wondering if anybody has been brave enough to weather these exquisite coaches or to fade the Crimson of the BR version to a redder shade, as I remember it....?
  2. Are these pics taken from your new garden with a massive telephoto lens ? If so there won't be many little people painted for a while!
  3. Great to see normal passenger service resumed. Mr Warburton is grateful for the smoke deflectors under the footbridge so he won't be getting his suit smutty.
  4. After that ugly American thing recently featured on this site it's wonderful to see a magnificent view of the west country- it's almost as good as Brent but the scenery is not as realistic. You will need blinds in your studio .........
  5. Thanks to renumbering of posts following the removal of the unwanted post #460 is the welcome response to it!!
  6. Here in Somerset our Maypoles are much smaller and less scary........ Mike ...wondering whether I can run Maunsell rebuilt LSWR coaches through Limpley Stoke without invoking Rule 1.....
  7. Why are the men carrying the handbags ? -- it's too early for feminism. Perhaps they are carrying all the paraphernalia required for pipe smoking. Remember the most popular of all?
  8. Fabulous pics- but I was a bit worried that all that smoke would make your newly painted footbridge dirty. Mike
  9. Ah yes, I remember the cab of a Britannia on show... and Emet's wonderfully whimsical mobile sculptures: luckily a few years before my exam so I was able to enjoy the experience. Mike
  10. TOUGHEST STONE ON RECORD- the wagon says: is that Keith Richard on board? he seems to be in the right skin.....
  11. Exquisite paint job on such a perfect footbridge- the scene is now complete. Mr Warburton ,however, seems unmoved !!
  12. Mr Warburton has said, thanks to the new footbridge, the terrible smell has gone. Could he be an inspector from the Ministry of Health ?
  13. I don't know why Mr Warburton is still staring at those lupins when he could easily pop over the new bridge to have a closer look! Mike
  14. The frosted glass on the footbridge will hide any hanky-panky from 'Brief Encounter 2' from the ever-present RobCam Mike
  15. Many lights make hands work....... I think the new lights are an improvement- wonderfully crisp and well lit pictures. Now where is Mr Snow?
