Hi John Thanks Yes that seems to work ok , but a bit hit and miss. I have a second back up master controller. Could I set that up and use it as a second controller using the macro & accessory buttons ? Terry

I had a similar issue recently and likewise I checked the speaker connections at both the speaker end and the connection to the chip, it had been hardwired. I decided to try another speaker. Guess what the speaker itself was faulty. Worth a try Terry

Only a couple of days to go before the return of my annual trip to Wigan to one of my top three exhibitions. Terry

There was a dedicated WiFi channel for the Traders to use for the card readers and that worked fine. Its the older telephone signal card readers that tend to have the problem. Telephone signal is not good in the area, made worse with the Faraday effect of the building Terry

After a busy weekend at the Stafford Exhibition I’m really looking forward to my annual visit to Wigan next weekend. Terry

There is a cafe in Bingley Hall on the upper level which will be open from about 8.30 I believe. I was told this afternoon (unconfirmed) that is there a dog show tomorrow in one or more of the halls we have used for our exhibition in the past . So maybe the Barn Cafe will be open. Terry

The advanced team had a busy day on Thursday collecting barriers, both from the Warley clubrooms and our local storage facility nearby. Other club members about a dozen or so we’re also busy marking out the hall for all the layouts, traders and demonstrators . The exhibition hub, the tea room that will be used for all the layout operators, traders and members is all set up and running. So today it’s the big day when it all comes together and layouts and traders start to arrive for the big build. After two years off because of the pandemic and the move to a much larger venue it has given the team a new challenges. But so far with all the forward planning and 100% support from the members it is coming together nicely. It certainly looks like it will be a super exhibition. It’s sometimes hard to believe that are we able to plan and organise such a big exhibition from the membership and few helpers from Warley Well time it’s almost time for breakfast to what will be a long day. I visit a number of non model railway shows over the year such as motorhome & caravan shows, the IPMS show at Telford etc In the week before I go to the show/exhibition I go on line and make a list of all the stands and traders I want to visit, so on arrival I have a plan. It works well for me Terry
