Thanks, Mark. I was 13 at the time armed with a very simple camera, hence it's not too good quality. There were a couple of guys painting/fixing minor bits when I took the photos, and they told me they were French, but didn't believe them. I remember Railway Modeller at the time was urging us to take pictures of anything, no matter how mundane - so glad now that I did! Paul.

Hi, I had the fortune to ride the Flam Railway in May last year. Top'n'tail El17s were the traction and in the museum shop I was able to buy a cab-ride DVD. It sounds like I won't be able to get the other E17s in the book for haulage, then.
