  1. In the original post it refers to the loco being operated by DRS. I thought it had always been EWS/DB? It certainly had beasty stickers on it when I had it for haulage in the summer of 2019. Paul.
  2. But what was the sloping roof for? Any particular reason? Paul
  3. In Lidl last week I saw some hot cross buns for sale... Paul.
  4. Hi, I don't know how to show a link to a You Tube video but if you search on YouTube for Lawrie's Mechanical Marvels 08785, you should be able to find a video of 08785 in G&W orange. Paul.
  5. Hi, can anybody tell me what the difference between a VAA and a VBA is, please? I've looked on Paul Bartletts site but can't see any physical differences between them except for experimental suspension on some vehicles. Thanks Paul.
  6. And I thought that the shop on Pelham Street was big... Paul

  14. Wasn't 56036 the first loco in large logo blue? Or at least the first 56? Paul.

  16. It's clearly an SNCFFret CC92000 just waiting the final livery touches. Paul.

    On Cats

Porkscratching, we have a cat that loves climbing into my wife's craft table and knocking onto the floor anything he can, especially the beads and sequins kept in old 35mm film canisters because they make the best noise when he plays with them! She's forever looking where he's put them. Paul.
  18. I hope Dapol have a copy too. 'O' gauge Shark, hint, hint! Paul.
  19. Don't they have something like that at the Chinnor and Princes Risborough? Paul.
  20. Carlisle must have been pretty similar too? Paul.
  21. That picture of Wellowgate - you can see in the background a fish and chip shop, which it was said in the late seventies/early eighties was often visited by an Area Inspector who was single and lived on his own, and that Wellowgate would then get a box visit before/after visiting the chippie. The most visited box in the area!I Paul.
