  1. Hi. My order for the Bachmann Works Test Train and the two LMS Porthole coaches was sent out by Hattons yesterday at 15.20. I chose Royal Mail Special Delivery for these as always - we have an excellent service here in Beverley. Now, in spite of being one hour and twenty minutes late of the two o'clock deadline for this service(for next day delivery), the parcel arrived this morning at about eight thirty! That has to be remarkable service by both Hattons and the Royal Mail. Very pleased to say the least! All the best, Market65.
  2. Yes, that B&W photo' is outstanding and indeed should be the thread header shot! I've rarely seen a photo' as good as that. Excellent work and effort. All the best, Market65.
  3. They really are excellent photo's, Andy, of Bacup - especially in black & white. Love them! All the best, Market65.
  4. Hi. Well further to post 166. The two Portholes arrived this morning from Hattons. They do look good to me and I've taken a photo' of each of the TK and the CK... I hope that these photo's will be helpful. All the best, Market65. P.S. The CK has the correct end profile.
  5. Wave Myself Goodbye - Rory Gallagher.
  6. Send out your soldiers, armies of wonder.
  7. Hi, Jaz. It was built in 2002, and I was able to get the crane to swivel manually along with the lifting of the Jib. It will travel along the track without derailing - added some lead under the chassis of the crane. Many thanks for your interest. All the best, Market65.
  8. Hi. Here's a break-down train not going to the scene of an emergency, in the late summer of 1938. It is hauled by a J27 in a reasonably clean condition. i think that I've got the lamp code correct! . The crane is scratchbuilt. All the best, Market65.
  9. Hi. Upon enquiring with Hattons today, it may be that the brake thirds will be appearing August/September. I do have them on pre-order. The all third and CK which I had ordered are on their way, all being well. Looking forward to them. All the best, Market65.
  10. Hi, I must echo others who have said that those latest photo's are stunning - for that is what they are - stunning(and I voted for your layout). The WD 2-8-0 is an remarkable example of weathering, along with the wagons. All the best, Market65.
  11. Hi, Dave. Great photo's here. I like that one of 37056, it so well composed and shows a classic view of a train. Please keep the photo's coming. All the best, Market65.
  12. Jailhouse Rock - Elvis Presley.
  13. Rock With You - Michael Jackson.
  14. Hi, Dave. What a fascinating piece of history about Flying Scotsman and Pendennis Castle. This is the first I have come across about them being based in that area. Great photo's as ever. Please keep them coming. All the best, Market65.
  15. But they're no good for you in your state.
  16. No one knows what you're feeling.
  17. Tide water so deep I think I'm going to drown.
  18. Hi, I think that the U1 is appearing in the Stockton and Darlington anniversary, for it is carrying No 42 at the front - the 42nd exhibit. It had been finished just in time for that anniversary on 1st July, 1925. It was in workshop grey, after the anniversary, it was repainted in black. In the film it is fairly clearly in grey not black. Also note the people on the trackside as well, which ties in with that anniversary. I hope that this might be of some help. All the best, Market65.
  19. Hi, Dave. What a great double set of photo's that you've posted today. The photo' of 8F 48126 is working a typical everyday goods train. The one at Grassington of BR standard 4 75021, is an excellent example of how engines were weathered near the end of steam. The Fairburn 2-6-4T at Harrogate, August, '65, has a Thompson SK at the rear. Now, at Huddersfield. The first photo' shows the first of five class 105's to be fitted with the two-character route indicator and three marker lights which were allocated new to Hull Botanic Gardens - the car numbers of this set being - DMBS 50374 and DTC 56129. Great photo' of the Huddersfield warehouse and wagon hoist - perfect for modelling! Please keep these exceptional photo's coming. All the best, Market65.
