He must have twigged that there's no loco or rolling stock because he's sent me a special offer of a £4.50 reduction . Am I tempted? . No not at all. Regards, Rich.

One Hornby Doblo and a Hornby Duplo. Even after all these years the spellings still make I larf a bit. However........ After seeing the asking prices my missus reckons I should be arranging some kind of 24 hour armed security on our back bedroom or selling the track and buying a modest castle in Snowdonia Regards, Rich

http://lestrainsjouef.free.fr/en/vap_fra/040ta_sncf.html http://lestrainsjouef.free.fr/en/vap_fra/040ta_sncf.html Hi Stevey. The loco dates from 1967 according to above link. I can remember them from new and as a kid was always fascinated by the ''exotic'' Jouef products. These days it's the sort of thing I would expect to pay up to a tenner for. It would be converted to run on 3 rail Marklin MGleis, and the Grandbairns bribed to enjoy themselves playing with their barmy Grandad's trains. Regards, Rich

Complete with 3 amp plug! I could think of a quite a few more descriptive words. **Not really, I think I'll make my own Regards, Rich

Very well said Sir !! Which sort of leads me to draw your attention to these https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353707830806 Now don't get me wrong. In no way am I criticizing the workmanship. I'm sure that whoever produced these got a great deal of pleasure and fun from the project, and rightly so. What I can't wrap my head round is the description and the asking price ''In good condition as shown - quite a nice job '' Regards, Rich

TinTracks replied to davidparker172's topic in RMweb Area Groups
Hi Dave. There's quite a few clubs in the area. Here's a link to the Stockton Modeller website. If you scroll down the page there's a comprehensive list of contact details for clubs from Darlington to Skelton in East Cleveland My own interest is in repairing old beat up Hornby Dublo 3 rail and ancient Marklin items. If I can help please ask away. Regards Rich https://www.stocktonmodeller.co.uk/s/teeside-area-model-clubs -

Astonishing !!. Mind you at first glance ( after I picked myself up off the floor) I thought it had a sort of Gallic flavour , or maybe something like these http://www.historicvietnam.com/turbulent-history-indochinas-1m-gauge-pacific-mikado-locomotives-pascal-bejul/ Regards, Rich -

It has a curious look of the side armoured skirts (Schurzen) applied to WW2 German Tanks. Perhaps they quietly sold a few out of service locos to the Wehrmacht back in the day!!
