You actually only need one long one as it can be cut and then overlaid on the first half to the appropriate length.

That's a good point, but I can't find anyone that does it as a transfer. Nick C's suggestion of contacting Railtec is a good shout I think.

Had a quick look, but could not find anything, so assume no longer available.

Don't know if anyone else does them.

By the way, my local shop has received the new models today.

Thanks for that, and for having a look. Sadly, it's not the nameplate that I am struggling to find. It is if anyone does transfers for the black and white painted surround. I'm guessing not as they are not a standard size being dependant on the name but thought someone may have produced a transfer sheet with a couple of different sizes. Looks like it's a steady hand painting job.

  3. Afternoon, I am considering getting one of the new Olive Green 02s for my Isle of White fleet but would want to rename it. I have trawled the internet but having no luck so does any one know of anywhere where I could get transfers for for the nameplate surround? I suspect they may not be done as they aren't a set size but maybe someone on here will known different!

  4. As other have said I saw this in the flesh at Statfold Barn over the weekend and no photo in this thread, no matter how good, in my opinion does any justice to how wonderful this really looks! A really charming layout that you are instantly convinced is of a real place.

  5. Sadly no clues to be seen at all during setting up at Statfold tonight. But given location of announcement and the green background in the video link 009 seems a definite doesn't it. Perhaps a James Spooner to finish off the preserved Fairlies or an NG16 as they seem to be popular wants every announcement cycle. Darjeeling 19B as an outside bet but again no doubt would be popular and could be done in partnership with with the 19b society with donations to the boiler fund.

Can someone just clear up my understanding of proposed liveries?  With so many longed for models being produced, I've got a bit lost.  This without the cancelled retailer commissions.  I wonder if I've missed an announcement of a retailer commission somewhere... and want to make sure I get my pre-order right/ hold off in hope for second run.

    Mainland:

    2x LBSCR Improved engine green

    2x LBSCR Goods green

    2x LBSCR Marsh umber

    2x SR Black Maunsell lettering

3x BR black (2x early emblem, 1x no emblem)

    Island

1x each of: SR Bulleid sunshine lettering, BR green and BR black early emblem

    1xHartley colliery livery.

But the Train Times 2x LBSCR lined black liveries no longer going ahead.

And no mainland SR in Bulleid/sunshine Black livery currently proposed from any source??

    Many thanks in advance.

You've missed the Isle of Wight Steam Railway exclusive of island condition W2 'Yarmouth' in SR Olive Green.
