  1. Thanks, Mike, for confirming the location - here's 45127 coming in to the station. Sadly - and deeply, deeply worrying - I simply can't remember being at York to take these photos
  2. There's a Peak approaching, No. 45127 in fact. Does anyone know where this is, as I can't remember. I've just found this neg and several others (from which no photos were made) taken in, I think, 1981. I didn't have photos taken at the time as i couldn't afford it; film was cheap (ish) but processing wasn't. Wonderful track layout in the foreground.
  3. Don't forget your wide angle lens... German built 2-6-2T (I think!) near Dinant in 2000
  4. A visit to Tring one sunny day. Mid eighties, I think. Oh, it's 85009 as the next shot shows
  5. Class 91 at Leeds, summer 2015
  6. Something a little off the beaten track - north central Germany, narrow gauge, mining by the look of it
  7. Newark, I think, but goodness knows when.
  8. This almost fits here - Peak passing an emu at St Albans in mid eighties Cliff
  9. 25057 at Vic Berry's some time ago. First scan with 'new' V330 scanner, scanned from neg Cliff
  10. The blogspot isn't exactly illuminating, is it? It's almost as if the proprietor of the magazine doesn't want it to be be bought.
  11. "I'd swear that on the box it said RP25 flanges..."
  12. Seemingly I might have learned my mistake as the next shot (following the U that I posted on 3rd November (post No. 61) is the attached. This manages not cut off the locomotive's left hand deflector.even so, I don't think there's enough of the coach to which it's coupled in the photo. Cliff
  13. As we're approaching that season, how about a panto...graph? Sorry! Cliff
  14. Nothing wrong with pedantry, Matt, I'm an arch pedant myself! Or thought I was: a proper pedant would've got the class right! Thanks, though, for the correction.
  15. Ivatt 2MT at SVR a number of years ago
  16. An indifferent photo near sunset of an SNCF diesel at Quimperle some time ago, in the early nineties, I think.
  17. From construction manual: "Part No. 76: The cabside. This needs to have any flash removed and then carefully glued to the cab front"
