    Before Hunslet Barclay ran the weedkiller train it was operated by Chipman's, based at Horsham. 50019 Ramillies arrives at Penzance over an hour late on the 7Z07 0545 Laira to Penzance.29th April 1988.

    50035 Ark Royal does not have to work too hard whilst taking charge of a lightly loaded 1352 Penzance to Plymouth parcels train. Camborne 29th April 1988.

    47517 Andrew Carnegie complete with Highland Stag motif arrives at Hayle on the 1027 Penzance to Edinburgh on 5th April 1988.

    50041 Bulwark assists a failed 50013 Agincourt into Camborne on the 0005 Paddington to Penzance "sleepers" on 29th February 1988. The train was running 109 minutes late after 50013 failed in the Par area.

    47331 races through Par on a ballast train whilst 37691 waits in the siding. My notes state that 37691 was on loan to the area at the time. 10th March 1987.
