    Lights getting fitted using 0603 smd leds, loksound fx 5 in the rear unit and a accurathrash speaker and esu sugarcube. Loksound v5 in the front and micro connectors running the length of the rake to connect all the pickups and have a speaker in 4 of the 5 units. Michael lomax of code 3 models on YouTube is making me some mini displays and coach lighting, it will also have door open lights and cablights.

    I drew them myself and got one of the lads at the club to 3d print them, I cut a hole in the roof and glued this in. I'm fitting a fresnel lens and blue leds and having the beam of blue light to scan the ohle

    Bachmann MPV updated with green rejoiced on cab sides and above cantrail, 3d printed gaurd frame and awaiting chrome paint.

    Head and tail lights working with yard, day and night mode. Front strip lights and spot lights and cab light all tested, legomanbiffo sound working through a accurthrash speaker.

    I've added thin strips of masking tape which is meant for coach roof welds but it looks the part on the roof on here.

    The speaker is a em1 which is the same as the accurathrash speaker is hidden inside the engine and barely visible with the roof on

    Slowly adding the detail working strip lights using 0.75mm fibre optic and spot lights I 3d printed and 0603smd leds. Coupling hook, air pipes and siren added. Brass etch wipers added. All the lights are functional again using 0603 smd leds. Smd resistors on laid dcc resistor boards adjust the relative brightness and fine adjustments made on the decoder

    08-16 tamper very slowly coming along, writing taking an age with over 30 smd led for all the lighting.

    I am making a Clockwork ideas kit of the Colas 08-16 tamper I'm after the photos and text from the were recruiting sign and the vehicle safety check on the engine to get some decals made

    Finally getting round to this but is taking longer than usual as I'm adding servo actuated tines, full lighting including strip lights and legomanbiffo sound with stop start and tines all in one automatic sequence

    Making a lot more progress detailing being picked out and flexible rubber piping going to be added. Working strip lights and head/tail lights will be fitted as well as sound and servo using legomanbiffo sound he will also add this sound

    I have finally got round to making a bit of progress on my Clockworks Ideas Colas 08-16 tamper kit. A slight twist that Legomanbiffo has supplied a V5 decoder which we are jointly modifying his tamping sound which includes the stop start motion to activate a servo to move the tines up and down

    What red and white did you use for the tfw unit as I live in cheshire and work at Warrington psb and see there 153s 175s and 158s but they seem to be a variety of white ranging to grey. Thanks for your previous posts about the freightliner 86s I used them as a inspiration

    A few more shots of the weathering in better lighting on the 86s using a mix of light grey streaked using white spirit, ammo mig grey panel wash, ammo mig streaking grime, precision paints roof dirt, frame dirt, sleeper grime, brake dust, black, sealed with valleyo matt varnish
