No sorry I’ll just make them from brass.
righto thats fine with me, i'll probs 3d print some myself, since i'll need to design an adaptor of sorts if i plan to run APT-Qs using the MK4 DVT in place of the planned DAV4

Mines just died. (7 car) Continues to derail, didn't make four circuits before the motor or chip seems to have gone pop. Familiar smell coming from it. Really not happy with it. I think this one is going back
did it start smoking from the bogey by chance? Because my one did exactly that, i'll be posting the NDM back to Hornby for repairs tomorrow

Arguably closer to even the APT-Q with the NDM and DAV4 rolled into one as a class 91.
Using the 91 since my NDM is broken fresh from box, gotta send that back to Hornby for repairs, but my plan in the future is to motorize the second dummy NDM and mod the couplings to work with the new MK4 DVT Hornby are making

NDM might be busted, but atleast i got to run some of my APT, with help from my class 91

Mine arrived today! I think these are fair points. The couplings are really annoying. Can’t wait for the Hunt magnetic ones to arrive! But overall I’m very pleased. And especially pleased I got a extra powered MDM. Really needs it over 9 cars!
atleast you got to run yours, my one, brand new mind you, arrived today with a burned out motor already
-
just put the NDM on a oval of track on its own and the motor started smoking, it

i wonder how easy it would be to swap out the stock coupling with something like NEM? Asking as idea i had was running the APT as an APT-Q using the new tooled MK4 DVT

Quite easy, just gently align them and push together, and came apart easily enough too with a firm pull.
so about on pare with the Class 395 style couplings?
-
question the people here who have already received the models, how easy is it to couple the NDMs to each other and the TBFs?

I wouldn't mind seeing them make a DAV4, so could atleast have an APT-Q

I think this was discussed when a set was running on Pete Waterman's layout - it's the interior colour IIRC
yes, that was me. basically, its because the first class coaches have blue seats, so its reflecting the light more

You know, im really tempted to pre-order the 5 car pack that has the black window surrounds on the cab as i can run it along side the 7 car pack i pre-ordered
-
I've just noticed the the 755s have two models with the same item numbers
I'm going to assume that
R3963A and R3964A will be either DCC Fitted or DCC ready with R3963 and R3964 being the reverse -

I would suspect that it’s an add on to new 5 car pack R30104 which is advertised as 370003/37004 with black window surroundings.
NDM #49002 would actually go with 370002, given the #02 at the end of its coach number

hopefully, if the 755s sell well, we might get a 745 later on down the line

The 755s are the ones that have got me hooked with this years range

So, Hornby are making NDM 49002 as a separate NDM https://uk.Hornby.com/products/br-class-370-advanced-passenger-train-ndm-49002-era-7-r30105.
Guess they knew the issue with the 7 car having only one powered NDM -
looks like i'll have to get the second NDM, when ever that comes back in stock

Should i wait for a third party to make better pantographs for the APT or do i stick with the stock pantographs
