  1. 2 more brilliant updates that were a pleasure to read through. The water tank was enormous from the OS and images that I've seen, you're doing a cracking job tackling it. I'm liking your weathering too! Westwood House is also looking great there in the background! Looking forward to seeing it in person. Tom
  2. Another livery variant here https://www.flickr.com/photos/36034969@N08/34096947881/in/feed Not my image
  3. We've got a 1 in 10 chance of guessing which Type 2 loco it will be, anyone up for a wager? Hahaha
  4. Do you have any pictures, maps, models, a layout or even a story that is somehow related to Wigan? Then here is the place to show and tell them. If it's related to the railways in Wigan, then don't hesitate to post them. I look forward to seeing some of your posts and hopefully it'll inspire more people to model the Wigan area.
  5. A sad day as we see the final set of pictures and video footage from the ever famous layout, Penhayle Bay. There's no doubt about it that most RMweb users will have stumbled across this layout at points and taken inspiration from it. A sad ending, I will miss seeing the updates from Rick. Here's hoping his new project gets under way soon
  6. Hope everything is okay with yourself Kev, look forward to hearing from you soon.
  7. For the final time, I must say, a brilliant set of pictures. A sad loss but I look forward to your next venture.
  8. Does anyone have any more pictures of Wigan Springs Branch or especially of the Wigan Central sheds/depot?
  9. Stunning! Just out of interest, do you have any information on shed 27D (Wigan Central)?
  10. Huge thanks! I look forward to seeing some more updates soon
  11. Here's hoping for a 25, however, any new announcement by SLW will be a great one
  12. Good to have you on here Scott, it's me Tom Wyatt! I agree with you completely and if it wasn't for Facebook we probably would've never gotten a class 50 in RTR. Or, we'd of had to wait a few years and it may not of been produced by LLC. What I've gathered from this, put into simple terms is that those who have put there names down for a model on the Facebook group, like myself, are the initial crowdunders, without us Facebook crowdfunders this project may not of gathered such numbers at this pace. Once the initial crowdfunding numbers were reached it was confirmed to go ahead. Then those who didn't manage to get in on the crowdfunding will be able to purchase the production run models. It's a bit like first come first serve but at the end of the day enough will be produced to cover all of us and it's not like the crowdfunded addition and standard production runs models will be any different in quality? So let's put this to bed and move on. We should be backing Steve as he's putting his own name, reputation and money on the line every time he starts a new project so unless one of you guys are willing to do a class 50 in RTR as well then you have no argument. We will all get our models, we will all be happy to tick another loco off the wish list and we will all forget this has ever happened. So stop giving the man grief and let him get on with the model, after all, every second spent typing is a second wasted.
  13. I never cease to be amazed by your skills!! I look forward to seeing more. Out of interest, what are some formations that you would suggest that include dogfish during the 80/90s?
  14. Just out of interest, do we have anyone with a degree in history who happens to know about the French Revolution? As it would be of great assistance.
  15. My brain is currently fried! I have more in my plate than ever. Assignments and exams in every subject, working out at an average of around 23 pages per day (including weekends). Why did I choose to be an academic hahaha. Love pressure
