  20. Background to my question . Seeing the sad news of the closure of Hattons I had a look through the sale on there website . I found a Dapol O gauge wagon at a fantastic price with markings on the side of The Derbyshire Carriage & Wagon co ltd. I purchased it and it was delivered today. I live in the village and didn't know there was a wagon builder close by I had seen there was a wagon builder not far from me in old Whittington Chesterfield called Chatsworth wagon works and believed that this was the only builder in this area . I searched the web for information as my interest was peaked . Not much is available and most of my searches came up with the previous company down the road . I did find a rare aerial photo of the works which revealed the location next to the old station a place I have photographed on regular occasion not realising what the buildings were . My Question Can any of the knowledgeable users on here help me with direction to more information either books on independent wagon builders with information on The Derbyshire carriage & wagon co ltd or any online information they may have come across when searching for something them self . I intend to email Dapol to ask if they can help with any further information or if they have any photo's of the wagons in services Thanks in advance Andrew .
