    I am annoyed and angry to say the least with what i collected from the postie today, bear in mind one of these is supposed to be my birthday present, was really excited until i was presented with broken buffers and footsteps and footplates above buffers, glue splurges and mal aligned name plates, sending them to be fixed to say the least for i dont have the time nor the springs to do it.     If you do could you tell me what happens, if worst comes to worst I will DIY the plates, don't want to hack them off and take the paintjob with it though... Ben

    Mine DRS pair are sat somewhere in cheam awaiting picking up tommorow after school! im excited but also praying i got off lucky, On that note, does the glue debonder damage the paintwork when removing nameplates, has anyone tried? Ben

    Emailed them on Sunday, Monday they said Dapol sent them the invoice and they were imminent, and today the email came through saying they were dispatched and will be here Friday, sorry if others have said this as I have literally read this post and this post only. Ben

    I wonder why they are discontinued and the drs shop ones are taking so long? I'm wondering if DRS sent them back and are getting the correct livery and nameplates fitted? If Dapol are happening to make CORRECT bodyshells for DRS 68's I would happily get some, but I would expect some sort of discount if we have to buy them? Ben

    The 376's and 378's are much alike in terms of windows and doors, but I know one difference between the two is the cab, being to different designs, as well as the light clusters and gangways being different, the 378's having a full walk through train, the 376's lacking the feature. Ben

    Still waiting for Kernow to ship my DRS 68 pair, anyone experienced similar problems with obtaining DRS 68's from Kernow? Ben

    Its a shame this as you had a good layout going, depending on size restrictions I'm sure you can fit in a roundy roundy using the Cyril Freezer book as inspiration, Either way, I shall be following with great interest mate. Ben

    And addressing the DRS liverpool issue, regardless i wont be returning mine as it personally doesnt bother me, if Dapol saw it as a major problem they would concern they may even produce replacement bodyshells as a corrected alternative to what we have experienced. Ben

    Evening all, I will say i was a tad suspicious about that, im pretty sure i have seen similar on the digest regarding other Dapol models after what i think was an open day at Dapol? Either way that sort of behaviour isnt acceptable on any level and if any of mine has came across as such in recent days, I apologise for that as it wasnt intended that way. However, I will definately be on the look out for activity like such across any forum. Ben

    I would imagine they are superb models, and regarding the comment mentioning Neil it has been removed as that exchange never occurred, made clear by Dapol's statement on false info as a whole today. Ben

    I'm glad to hear your 68 has came out fine, and it would be great if they did a run of replacement bodyshells. what is the haulage capability like? Ben
